AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (February 3, 2026) – Maserati North America today announced the arrival of the new Grecale Modena V6, a sharpened interpretation of the Trident’s SUV introduced for the United States and Canada. With the Modena V6 taking a more prominent role in the Grecale range, Maserati is delivering a clearer, more customer-centered lineup strategy which emphasizes the qualities North American drivers value most: smoother power delivery, mated with a more engaging sound, new robust standard content, and everyday exceptional performance – all thoughtfully anchored in Maserati’s distinctly Italian approach to modern luxury.
At the heart of the Grecale Modena V6 is a specially tuned version of Maserati’s in-house 3.0-liter twin-turbo Nettuno V6, featuring patented pre-chamber combustion technology derived from Formula 1. Producing up to 385 hp and 368 lb.-ft. of torque (2,000–3,750 rpm), the Modena V6 delivers performance that feels immediate, refined, and confidently usable in real-world driving.
This isn’t a mere rev-capped engine calibration, but an all-new mapping intended at maximizing driving pleasure during normal road use. While the 523 hp version of Nettuno engine featured on the range-topping Trofeo still is the benchmark at high-revs, the Modena V6 tuning has remarkable responsiveness at low-revs, when most drivers will enjoy their Grecale in lower speed traffic conditions. This new V6 variant also still features the cylinder de-activation system, improving fuel consumption and CO2 emissions by up to 6% in relaxed driving environments.
Paired with an advanced on-demand all-wheel drive system, Grecale Modena V6 is engineered to suit the diverse road conditions and seasons across North America, without sacrificing the emotional, unmistakably Maserati character that defines the Trident.
Rich technical content sets the Grecale Modena V6 apart in the segment and features a:
- ZF 8HP75 gearbox (Gen2 8‑speed), considered one of the world’s fastest and most refined torque‑converter automatic transmissions. It offers lightning-fast millisecond shifts and a very smooth feel due to a fast-locking torque converter.
- An advanced on‑demand AWD system. Under normal conditions it works as rear-wheel-drive (boosting efficiency and sportiness) with fast, progressive torque transfer to the front axle when traction loss, load transfer, or aggressive throttle inputs are detected (torque split is up to 50% and 50%).
- A rear electronic limited slip differential (eLSD) that interacts with stability control to improve traction and road holding under slippery conditions or sporty driving styles.
- An adaptive air suspension with electronic damping and ride height control, improving both off-road capabilities and highway driving performance and efficiency.
- And driving modes that include GT, Comfort, Sport, and Off-Road options that automatically set numerous parameters such as power output, traction and stability controls, suspension responsiveness, braking, and steering, to fit with customer driving tastes.
Signature exterior details – including staggered 21-inch wheels, a quad exhaust with sport valves, and new ‘V6’ badging – underscore its performance intent. Inside, premium leather, comfortable 14-ways adjustable seats, open-pore Radica wood trim, and multicolor ambient lighting set the tone, while a 12.3-inch full digital cluster and the Maserati Intelligent Assistant display suite (dual 12-inch and 8.8-inch screens) bring navigation, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto seamlessly into the cabin. The package is rounded out by the audiophile-level Sonus faber audio system with 14 speakers producing 860 watts and a comprehensive suite of driver-assistance features – including adaptive cruise control with Stop & Go, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian recognition, blind spot detection, and lane keeping assist.
“The Grecale Modena V6 brings the Maserati experience into even sharper focus for our region,” said Andrea Soriani, Head of Maserati Americas. “With a V6 at the heart of the range, it delivers the character our customers expect from the Trident – stronger performance, a richer sound, and a competitive specification that stands up in the real world. It’s modern Italian luxury you can enjoy every day, with the space and versatility to seamlessly integrate into your lifestyle.”
Beyond performance, Grecale Modena V6 is designed to feel complete, not compromised – blending Italian craftsmanship and an unmistakable design presence with a richly executed interior and technology built for modern life in motion. Engineered to over-deliver on everyday usability, its footprint supports generous passenger comfort and cargo practicality, balancing grand touring comfort and day-to-day versatility with the brand’s signature sense of passion.
