The Auto e Moto dEpoca show, Europe and Italys biggest exhibition of classic and contemporary cars and motorbikes, opened in Padua today and will be open to the public until Sunday 26 October.
The Maserati stand in Hall 1 at Padua fair district is displaying three classic Maserati cars of particularly high historical value: one of only four A6GCS/53 Berlinetta cars built, dating from 1954; an elegant 1964 Mistral Spyder with coachwork by Frua and a 1971 Bora, its lines as bold and emphatic as the wind from which it takes its name. As well as the three exclusive classic Maseratis, the stand is also exhibiting a Ghibli S Q4, the contemporary executive saloon with a sporty personality, equipped with the Q4 all-wheel drive system.
The Maserati Classiche department, which has curated the brands participation at the show, is an in-house entity entirely dedicated to classic Maserati cars and the promotion of the companys immense historic heritage.
This exclusive selection of cars, with its combination of past and present, is Maseratis way of marking the Centenary of its foundation. In 2014, as well as celebrating its 100 years in business, the company has also looked to the future by setting a new record, with sales of approximately 26,500 cars worldwide during the first nine months of the year.
