FIA GT - Bertolini and Bartels wrap up the group tests
Today saw the second and last day of FIA GT International Championship group tests run at the National Autodrome of Monza. The fastest time by a Maserati crew was set by the Andrea Bertolini-Michael Bartels crew at the wheel of the Team Vitaphone Racing MC12.

The fastest time by a Maserati crew was set by the Andrea Bertolini-Michael Bartels crew at the wheel of the Team Vitaphone Racing MC12. (Bertolini is eagerly awaiting the birth of his first son, Alessandro, who will be born within hours!) The reigning Drivers' and Team champions clocked the time of 1'45.863 in the third of the six programmed sessions. The team's other car, with Portuguese driver, Miguel Ramos, and Brazilian Xavier Negrão on board, set a quickest time of 1'462.697 in the fifth session. The ten-round FIA GT International Championship will kick off on the weekend of 19-20 April at Silverstone and conclude at the San Luis track in Argentina on 23 November.
