Vauxhall has announced new offers resulting in transactional price parity between electric and diesel versions of the Combo and Vivaro.

Whether purchasing through Conditional Sale, Business Contract Hire or Business Finance Lease, customers can benefit from identical monthly payments between powertrains. For a limited time, LCV customers can also enjoy an additional £1,000 saving (incl. VAT) on all models and powertrains. The LCV ‘Professional Days’ sales event applies to new LCV orders until 31^st May, registered by 30^th September.

For example, SME customers can lease a Vauxhall Combo Electric in top-spec Pro trim on LEASYS Business Contract Hire for just £305 per month, including the Professional Days Event – identical to the equivalent diesel version on the same terms (36 months, 10,000 miles per annum, six months’ initial rental). Alternatively, customers can opt for a Vivaro Electric for £335 per month on the same terms with no premium over the diesel version.

SME business customers and sole traders purchasing an electric van are also eligible for a complimentary Ohme EV charger* with standard residential installation (up to the value of £1,050 incl. VAT), enabling them to take advantage of cheaper off-peak home electricity tariffs for lower running costs.

Manufactured in the UK at Ellesmere Port, the Combo Electric features a 52kWh battery (gross capacity) and can travel up to 213 miles on a single charge (WLTP combined cycle). It offers up to 4.4 cubic metres of storage space when fitted with the FlexCargo load-through bulkhead (the same as its combustion engine sibling), a payload of up to 759kg, as well as an impressive towing capacity (braked) of 750kg.

The Vivaro Electric is Vauxhall’s mid-size electric van and is equipped with a 75kWh battery (gross) providing a range of up to 219 miles (WLTP combined cycle). It is available in two lengths – Medium (4.98m) or XL (5.33m) – and has a load volume of up to 6.6 cubic metres with the load-through bulkhead open. It can carry a maximum payload of 1,210kg and has a towing capacity (braked) of 1,000kg.
