VAUXHALL TO OFFER FULLY-ELECTRIC VARIANT OF EVERY MODEL FROM 2024 WITH LAUNCH OF CROSSLAND SUCCESSOR

• Vauxhall Crossland successor with fully-electric variant to launch next year
• Will result in Vauxhall offering a 100% electric version of its entire line-up from 2024
• Vauxhall’s electrified portfolio already includes a choice of five fully-electric passenger cars, including the new Astra Electric that goes on sale today
• Astra Sports Tourer Electric will join the line-up later in 2023
• Vauxhall is one of few brands to offer a fully-electric van across its entire LCV range
• Plug-In Hybrid power also available across Astra, Astra Sports Tourer and Grandland, including performance GSe models
• New Hybrid powertrain will be available on New Corsa later this year
• Vauxhall will be an electric-only brand from 2028

Vauxhall has taken another major step towards becoming a fully electric brand from 2028, with the successor to the Crossland set to be offered with an all-electric version in 2024. The new addition to the line-up means that every model in the Vauxhall range will be available with a battery-electric variant as early as next year.
 

Vauxhall’s growing and diverse electrified range already features five fully-electric passenger car models, including Corsa Electric, Mokka Electric, Combo Life Electric and Vivaro Life Electric. These vehicles have recently been joined by Astra Electric, which is available to order now, and will be joined by the Astra Sports Tourer Electric later this year. This will be followed in 2024 by the all-electric successors to the Crossland and Grandland, completing the fully-electric offering for the brand.
 

Vauxhall already offers a fully-electric variant across its entire LCV range and is one of few manufacturers to do so – comprising Combo Electric, Vivaro Electric and Movano Electric.

The portfolio of Vauxhall electrified vehicles also features Plug-In Hybrid versions of Astra, Astra Sports Tourer and Grandland, all of which earlier this year became the first models to wear the badge of Vauxhall’s new electrified performance sub-brand – GSe (Grand Sport electric). Grandland GSe is the most powerful model in Vauxhall’s line-up, offering a system power output of 300hp and maximum torque of 520Nm.
 

Vauxhall is also adding a new Hybrid powertrain to its electrified line-up. The 100hp and 136hp engines with a new dual-clutch automatic transmission will be available on New Corsa later this year, giving customers a choice of battery-electric, Hybrid or highly efficient combustion engines.
