VAUXHALL’S ALL-NEW CORSA IS UK’S BEST-SELLING NEW CAR

• Vauxhall Corsa topped the UK’s new car registration charts in January
• Vauxhall’s market share grew from 7.0% to 7.3% year-on-year in January

 

Luton – The all-new Vauxhall Corsa was the UK’s best-selling new car in January, according to figures released by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT).

Despite Covid-19 restrictions requiring showrooms to remain closed throughout the month, January proved a successful start to the year for Vauxhall with 8,414 new cars and vans sold. The new Corsa was the best selling model with 3,078 sold.

The success across both new car and van sales saw Vauxhall increase its UK market share across these sectors from 7.0% to 7.3% year-on-year.

Customers can arrange a live video viewing of their vehicle via the Vauxhall Virtual Showroom and proceed to the Online Store to configure their vehicle, personalise finance payments, and place an order, all from the comfort of their home.
