VAUXHALL ON THE PODIUM IN UK NEW VEHICLE MARKET WITH CORSA NAMED UK BEST-SELLER

Vauxhall continues its growth trajectory in February, with car and van volume up by 6% year-on-year to 15,189, meaning the brand finished third in the UK new vehicle market with a total market share of 5.7%, according to the latest new vehicle registration figures published today by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT).

The Corsa continues to be a key sales driver for Vauxhall, remaining the UK’s best-selling small car in 2026, selling 4,236 units since the start of the year. New Frontera has also had a successful month, finishing as the second best-selling electric family SUV in its segment.

In total, Vauxhall saw a rise of 7% in passenger car volume year-on-year, with a total of 11,733 registrations since the start of the year. Electric car volume and share have also risen, with an 8% year-on-year growth in volume and share increasing to 4.6%.

In the van market, Vauxhall has seen significant gains with a 5% year-on-year increase in registrations, resulting in a market share boost from 9.5% to 10.4% and Vauxhall finishing second in the market*.
