Vauxhall is celebrating a significant win at the Great British Fleet Awards, with the Vauxhall Grandland crowned the "Best EV Medium SUV" for 2025. The award recognised the Grandland's exceptional capabilities as a fully electric vehicle perfectly suited to the demands of modern fleet operations, seamlessly blending practicality with cutting-edge electric technology.
The Great British Fleet Awards celebrate excellence and innovation within the fleet industry, and the victory underscores Vauxhall's unwavering commitment to providing a award-winning range of electric vehicles for businesses across the UK. Judges praised the Grandland for its impressive real-world electric range, spacious and versatile interior, advanced driver-focused technologies, and overall value for fleet customers making the transition to electric.
“Vauxhall is winning lots of admirers with its growing number of electric models, with price parity with ICE versions being a big part of the attraction. Grandland is a well-equipped, capable and affordable option for fleets – with all of the three trims coming in under the £40,000 ‘expensive car supplement’ threshold. That is sure to win many admirers in what is a competitive market.”
Eurig Druce, Managing Director, Vauxhall, commented, “The Vauxhall Grandland being recognised as the Best EV Medium SUV at the Great British Fleet Awards showcases our dedication to engineering vehicles that not only meet the rigorous demands of fleet operators but also provide a fantastic driving experience. The Grandland’s combination of extended range, exceptional practicality, and advanced technology firmly establishes it as a leader in the competitive electric SUV segment. For fleets looking to make the switch to electric, the Grandland delivers everything they need. I’d like to extend my thanks to the judges for this accolade."
The fully electric Grandland Electric features a 73kWh (net) battery, a 213hp motor with 345Nm of torque and energy-saving features such as a standard-fit heat pump, enabling a range of up to 325 miles (WLTP) on a single charge. It also supports rapid charging, allowing an 80% charge in around 30 minutes with a 160kW DC charger.
Inside, the Grandland features a high-tech, driver-focused cockpit, with a 10-inch display on Design trim and an impressive 16-inch on GS and Ultimate models. The Grandland is also available with Intelli-Drive 2.0, Vauxhall’s most advanced driver assistance systems including Semi-Automated Lane Change, Adaptive Cruise Control and Lane Change Assist. GS and Ultimate models come with Intelli-Lux HD headlights, Vauxhall’s most advanced lighting system, delivering outstanding visibility in all conditions without dazzling other drivers.
In keeping with Vauxhall’s bold and pure design language, the Grandland stands out with its signature 3D Vizor front grille and aerodynamic silhouette – all while offering 550 litres of boot space and over 35 litres of interior storage for growing families and busy professionals.
Vauxhall offers a fully electric version of every car and van model in its line-up.
