VAUXHALL CORSA RETAINS TOP-SELLING STATUS FOR THE FIRST FOUR MONTHS OF 2023

• Corsa has outsold every other new car in the UK in the first four months of the year
• The Corsa was the second-best selling new car in April, and best seller in its segment
• Corsa Electric was the second-best selling electric supermini in April
• Vauxhall to become a fully electric brand by 2028 – seven years ahead of UK Government deadlines

The Vauxhall Corsa has taken back the position as the country’s best-selling new car, according to the latest new car registration figures published today by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT).
 

The UK’s best-selling car in 2021, the Corsa has remained popular with buyers this year, and is now once again the best-selling car in the country for the first four months of 2023, with 14,034 units sold.
 

The Corsa was the best-selling car in its segment in April, and the second-best selling car for the month overall. Its fully electric variant, the Corsa Electric, was also the second-best selling electric supermini in April.
 

Vauxhall is on course to be a fully electric brand by 2028, seven years ahead of the UK Government deadline.
