VAUXHALL CONTINUES TO LEAD THE WAY IN E-LCV SALES

• Vauxhall remains the UK’s best-selling e-LCV manufacturer
• Almost a third of all electric vans sold so far in 2023 is a Vauxhall
• Vivaro Electric continues to be the best-selling e-LCV in the UK, with 3,211 sold year-to-date
• Vauxhall is one of the few manufacturers in the UK able to offer fleets and private buyers a fully electric van across its entire line-up

Vauxhall remains the UK’s best-selling e-LCV manufacturer, according to the latest new light commercial van registration figures published today by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT).

The Vivaro Electric leads the e-LCV market year-to-date, having sold 3,211 units in total so far this year. The Vivaro Electric’s success as both a private and a fleet vehicle means that almost one-in-three (31.83%) e-LCVs sold in the country this year is a Vauxhall.

Vauxhall is one of few manufacturers in the UK able to offer businesses and fleets a fully electric van across its model line-up. By 2028, Vauxhall will become an electric-only manufacturer, seven years ahead of the UK Government deadline.
