VAUXHALL CONTINUES TO LEAD ELECTRIC SALES CHARTS IN LATEST SMMT NEW CAR SALES FIGURES

Vauxhall’s Corsa range continued its strong UK sales performance in September, topping the charts in two segments according to the latest new car registration figures published today by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT).
The Corsa was the best-selling supermini in September as well as year-to-date, whilst also being the third best-selling car overall in the UK so far this year, with 30,177 units sold so far in 2023. The Corsa Electric remains the best-selling electric supermini in September and continues to lead the segment for 2023, with 2,796 sold year-to-date. The Mokka Electric also sits at the top of the Small Electric SUV charts for 2023 with 6,433 registered.
Vauxhall’s passenger car market share in the UK has increased compared to last year, rising from 4.29% in September 2022 to 4.93% in September 2023. This represents 13,434 car registrations in the month and 75,953 year-to-date.
