VAUXHALL CONTINUES TO LEAD ELECTRIC SALES CHARTS IN LATEST SMMT NEW CAR SALES FIGURES

Vauxhall’s Corsa range continued its strong UK sales performance in October, topping the charts in two segments according to the latest new car registration figures published today by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT).

The Corsa was the best-selling supermini in October as well as year-to-date, whilst also being the third best-selling car overall in the UK so far this year, with 33,641 units sold so far in 2023. The Corsa Electric remains the best-selling electric supermini in October and continues to lead the segment for 2023, with 2,926 sold year-to-date. The Mokka Electric also sits at the top of the Small Electric SUV charts for 2023 with 6,652 registered. 

Vauxhall’s passenger car market share in October has increased by 0.30 percentage points compared to last year, rising to 6.04%. This represents 9,266 car registrations in the month and 85,219 year-to-date.
