The Vauxhall Combo Electric has been named ‘Best Small Electric Van’ for the second year running at the annual DrivingElectric Awards. The Combo Electric won the 2023 award alongside sister models from Citroën, Fiat, Toyota and PEUGEOT.

Featuring a 50kWh battery, the Vauxhall Combo Electric has a range of up to 175 miles (WLTP) from a single charge and is capable of supporting 100kW rapid charging, meaning that a 0-80% charge can be completed in less than 30 minutes. The Combo Electric also features an identical 4.4m³ load capacity to its petrol and diesel counterparts thanks to clever engineering of the battery – making it ideal for fleets and businesses.

Richard Ingram, Editor, DrivingElectric, said: “The Vauxhall Combo Electric, along with its PEUGEOT, Citroën, Fiat and Toyota siblings, is our Best Small Electric Van for 2023. Easy to drive, versatile and quick to charge, it makes the switch to electric a no-brainer for so many business owners.”

The 2023 Driving Electric Awards recognise the best electric and hybrid vehicles available to drive in the UK, judged by a panel of industry experts with extensive experience behind the wheels of the UK’s latest electric models.

Vauxhall is one of few manufacturers in the UK able to offer fleets an electric van across its entire model line-up. The award comes after the latest Society of Motor Manufacturer and Traders (SMMT) figures confirm Vauxhall remains the UK’s best-selling electric Light Commercial Vehicle (e-LCV) manufacturer year-to-date.

James Taylor, Managing Director, Vauxhall, said: “The Vauxhall electric van range continues to impress both industry experts and customers alike. As more businesses and fleets embrace electric vehicles, awards like these are important in pointing customers to the right vehicles, and help Vauxhall fulfil its aim of electrifying Britain’s businesses.”

Combo Electric is also available as the Combo Life Electric with up to 7 seats, good looks, and plenty of practicality. With a range of up to 175 miles (WLTP), Combo Life Electric offers families and fleets stylish zero-emissions practicality.
