Vauxhall has secured three places in the top 10 of the 2026 Auto Express Driver Power survey, with Grandland, new Frontera, and Mokka all recognised in the highly regarded annual study of owner satisfaction, based on feedback from 100,000 UK drivers.
The Grandland retained its podium position in third place, an impressive achievement in a 50-car list. The Grandland was also the top mid-size SUV, scoring particularly well for practicality-based categories including interior, boot space, economy, and running costs.
The new Frontera ranked fifth in its first year on the market. Winning the small SUV category, the Frontera ranked highly for front-seat comfort, rear seat space, and boot space, as well as its cabin, efficiency and running costs. Mokka also placed within the top 10 in eighth place.
Eurig Druce, Vauxhall Managing Director & Stellantis UK Group Managing Director, said: “Being recognised once again in the Auto Express Driver Power survey is testament to the strength and consistency of Vauxhall’s product line-up. To have three models in the top 10, with Grandland retaining a podium position and both Frontera and Mokka performing so strongly, reflects our focus on delivering vehicles that meet the real-world needs of our customers. It’s particularly rewarding to see our cars praised for the attributes that matter most day-to-day, from practicality and comfort to efficiency and running costs.”
Paul Barker, Auto Express Editor, said: “It's clear that Vauxhall owners are impressed with how easy their cars are to live with day-to-day. Our research, which analyses in-depth what owners really think of their cars, shows how well these models perform in the real-world, and the people spending their own money are clearly impressed."

ABOUT VAUXHALL MOTORS
Vauxhall Motors started making cars in the UK in 1903. Today, as the oldest and most familiar of Britain’s automotive manufacturers, its philosophy is to build vehicles that are relevant to all and offer design, high levels of equipment and technology, and electrification at an attainable level. Vauxhall is one of few automotive brands to produce electric vehicles in Britain at its manufacturing plant in Ellesmere Port – the UK’s first electric-only manufacturing plant where the Combo Electric van is made. Vauxhall’s Electric Streets of Britain campaign raises the profile of the need for more on-street electric vehicle charging so that everyone can benefit from the switch to electric. Vauxhall is proud to be the official automotive partner of Team GB. The partnership sees Britain's most loved sports team and one of Britain’s most recognisable automotive brands joining forces, with Vauxhall supporting athletes as they prepare for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.
Vauxhall is part of Stellantis NV, a global leader created for the new era of sustainable mobility as a result of the merger between Groupe PSA and FCA Group in January 2021. Vauxhall is a leader in electrification – as of 2021, it was one of the first manufacturers to offer fully electric versions of all its vans. Since the end of 2024, Vauxhall has offered a fully electric version of every model in its car and van line-up. Info: www.vauxhall.co.uk
