PEUGEOT TO UPDATE ENTIRE RETAILER NETWORK WITH NEW CORPORATE IDENTITY BY EARLY 2022

PEUGEOT’s UK retail network is being updated in line with PEUGEOT’s new corporate identity, which has seen the brand reposition itself to be more reflective of its multi-award-winning product line-up. With site transformations already underway and a plan in place for implementation across the whole UK network, customers visiting PEUGEOT stores will experience refreshed showrooms, now sporting the updated and impactful new brand logo.

PEUGEOT’s new corporate identity will involve a visual refresh of its stores across the country, with changes visible both inside and outside retailers. In line with PEUGEOT’s new brand identity, introduced earlier in 2021, PEUGEOT’s new lion emblem will be made visible across the face exterior of retailers, as well as inside showrooms and across reception and aftersales areas.

The first Retailer to receive the updated design, Robins & Day West London, is already welcoming customers to experience the brand’s new look, with all retailers across the country to follow suit. The Retailer update is taking place as the UK arrival of the new 308 approaches – the first vehicle to wear PEUGEOT’s new lion emblem across the grille, tailgate, and, according to version, on the side panels.

PEUGEOT’s newly launched emblem is only the 11th update to its iconic lion emblem since 1850. Created by the PEUGEOT Design Lab and featuring a roaring lion’s head inside a coat of arms, the new design represents PEUGEOT’s adjusted position in the market and the evolution of the brand. PEUGEOT has enjoyed much success with its current model line-up – which includes the popular full electric e-208 and e-2008 – and is continuing down the road to electrification, committing to offer an electrified variant across its entire model line-up by 2024.

All PEUGEOT Retailers are set to have completed their introduction of the new corporate identity in time for the new PEUGEOT 308 arriving in store from April – May 2022. The new PEUGEOT 308 will be the first model to feature the revamped lion logo, and will offer two plug-in hybrid powertrains from launch, giving customers the power to choose between electrified and internal combustion engines. A fully-electric variant will complete the range in 2023

Steven Wass, Marketing Director, PEUGEOT, UK, said: The introduction of PEUGEOT’s new identity across our retail network allows us to demonstrate the progressive work we are doing to invigorate and develop our brand and model range. Our new lion emblem reflects the work going on with our electrification strategy, as we are constantly looking forward to update our cars with the latest technological and design innovations.”
