PEUGEOT’S SCOTT STENNING WINS ‘DEALER PRINCIPAL/GENERAL MANAGER OF THE YEAR’ AT AM AWARDS 2021
Scott Stenning, General Manager of PEUGEOT Arbury Bromsgrove has won the ‘Dealer Principal/General Manager of the Year’ award at the AM Awards 2021. Since taking the role in 2020, Scott has represented the PEUGEOT brand and dedicated time to both the National Retailer Council and Sales & Marketing sub-committee.
AM Online has named Scott Stenning, General Manager of PEUGEOT Arbury Bromsgrove, as the winner of the ‘Dealer Principal/General Manager of the Year’ award at the AM Awards 2021. The AM Online Awards celebrate the achievements of franchised and independent car retailers across the UK over the past 12 months and recognise key business leaders responsible for driving the UK’s industry forward.
After taking the role of General Manager of PEUGEOT Arbury Bromsgrove in 2020, Stenning has been instrumental to the success of the dealership, including the implementation of PEUGEOT’s new brand identity during a difficult year for the industry.
Reflecting on his win, Scott Stenning said: “I am incredibly proud to have won the AM Dealer Principal/General Manager of the Year Award. Whilst this is an individual award, it really should be dedicated to the fantastic team that work with me at Arbury Bromsgrove, and the incredible results that we have produced across all areas of our business, in what has been an incredibly tumultuous 18 months as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.”
Ben Archer, Director of Arbury Group, said: “I am thrilled and incredibly proud of this accolade. I am sure Scott will agree this award is also extended to the whole team for their efforts. That being said, he works tirelessly with his team to bring the best out of the everyone and in turn the dealership. His eye for detail means nothing is missed, standards are high, service is impeccable and all involved work to a common goal. Well done again Scott, thoroughly deserved.”
Over the past year, Stenning has not only represented the PEUGEOT brand, but has also devoted his time to the National Retailer Council and Sales & Marketing sub-committee, benefitting the entire PEUGEOT Network and making him a worthy recipient of this year’s award.
This year’s awards held particular weight due to a significantly difficult year for retailers as they dealt with the direct effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. Significantly impacting sales for all retailers, this year’s awards intended to not only reward those who have risen in testing times, but to also boost morale across the entire retail network, looking forward to hopefully more prosperous times ahead.
Simon Bisp, Sales Director, PEUGEOT UK, said: “I am delighted to see that Scott has been recognised with this accolade. He has worked tirelessly over the years to ensure that his team in Bromsgrove and the other Arbury sites represent the PEUGEOT brand perfectly. Scott has also devoted a huge amount of time to the benefit of the entire PEUGEOT Network on both the National Retailer Council and Sales & Marketing sub-committee, so I am sure all of our retailers will join me in congratulating Scott for this achievement.”
Julie David, Managing Director of PEUGEOT UK, said: “Scott is a very talented Retail leader in Arbury, & epitomises the leadership we value in the PEUGEOT network; able to inspire others. I can always count on Scott to give me honest & constructive feedback about the things that make a positive difference to our customers & the PEUGEOT retail network, so we are really pleased to see his success recognised by AM.”
