PEUGEOT RIFTER WINS MPV OF THE YEAR AT 2019 SCOTTISH CAR OF THE YEAR AWARDS

The PEUGEOT Rifter has received high praise from industry experts once again, taking home the title of ‘MPV of the Year’ at the 2019 Scottish Car of the Year Awards.

Success in the Scottish Car of the Year Awards is just one of several accolades bestowed upon the PEUGEOT Rifter in 2019. Last month, the PEUGEOT Rifter won the ‘Best Medium Family Car’ category at the Parkers New Car Awards 2020. The PEUGEOT Rifter also took home the ‘SUV of the Year’ title in the 2019 Company Car Today CCT100 Awards, ‘Best Utility Vehicle’ at the Diesel Car & Eco Car Awards 2019, and was named ‘Best MPV’ at the UK Car of the Year Awards 2019. In addition to the host of awards picked up by the PEUGEOT Rifter throughout 2019, the UK voted PEUGEOT as the ‘Most Dependable Volume Brand’ in the annual J.D. Power customer satisfaction survey earlier this year in May.

Judges praised the PEUGEOT Rifter for its practicality and interior features, as well as its affordability.

Launched in 2018, the PEUGEOT Rifter comes with a full range of innovative tech, carrying the award-winning PEUGEOT i-Cockpit®, along with ‘Magic Flat’ system, which allows drivers to fold down the second row seats with the push of a button to maximise load capacity.

The PEUGEOT Rifter brings design cues from PEUGEOT’s award winning SUV range together with the spacious and practical interior to allow drivers to enjoy an active lifestyle. Available in five or seven seat options, the PEUGEOT Rifter boasts between 775 and 4,000 litres according to version, making it one of the most spacious MPVs on the market.

With its family-friendly features, affordability and versatility, it made the Rifter the perfect winner of this year’s MPV category."
