PEUGEOT MAKES DONATION TO THE ATTITUDE MAGAZINE FOUNDATION TO SUPPORT CHANGE IN THE LGBTQ+ COMMUNITY
PEUGEOT continues its partnership with Attitude Magazine by donating to the Attitude Magazine Foundation, with the beneficiaries chosen by winners of the 2024 PEUGEOT Attitude Pride Awards.
PEUGEOT continues its partnership with Attitude Magazine by donating to the Attitude Magazine Foundation, with the beneficiaries chosen by winners of the 2024 PEUGEOT Attitude Pride Awards.
PEUGEOT made a donation of £10,000 to the Attitude Magazine Foundation which was divided equally between the winners of the PEUGEOT Attitude Pride Awards. The awards celebrated 10 inspirational people from across Europe who have fought adversity to become role models within the LGBTQ+ community. These included six inspirational queer people as well as four global Pride Icons: Wolfgang Tillmans, Adele Roberts, La Grande Dame and Paul Sinha.
PEUGEOT were the proud headline partner of the eighth annual Attitude Pride Awards, which took place in June this year at Raffles London Hotel, as part of the brand’s ongoing partnership with Attitude Magazine. PEUGEOT also partnered with Safe Space, a podcast hosted by Emma Jackson and Hester Morris, which is dedicated to giving a voice to the voiceless, helping to provide further support to the LGBTQ+ community and spreading awareness of important and positive topics in the space.
The winners of the 10 Pride awards each chose a cause close to their hearts, meaning these donations will help evoke real change within the community. The range of beneficiaries chosen by the award-winners reflects the diverse needs and concerns of the LGBTQ+ community, organisations such as the Elton John AIDS Foundation, which fights against HIV and AIDS globally, and the Albert Kennedy Trust, which supports young LGBTQ+ individuals facing homelessness, to charities with a wider mandate such as the British Heart Foundation.
Maxime Bailly, PEUGEOT UK Marketing Director said, “Through our partnership with Attitude Magazine for this year’s Pride Awards, we’re delighted to be able to support the Attitude Magazine Foundation with a donation. Having previously collaborated with Attitude on some meaningful projects, we’ve seen firsthand how important this foundation is to the work they do supporting the LGBTQ+ community across Europe. For this donation, the beneficiaries weren’t chosen by us, but instead by the winners of the PEUGEOT Attitude Pride Awards, and we’re honoured to be able to support the causes that are most dear to them.”
PEUGEOT’s partnership with Attitude is built on shared philosophies. The PEUGEOT Attitude Pride Awards is the start of a year-long partnership, which will be showcased across multiple platforms from print to social as well as live events and philanthropic charitable activations.
