Ahead of official government confirmation, PEUGEOT is also guaranteeing the £1,500 grant on the new E-408, E-308, E-308 SW, and E-TRAVELLER, so retail customers can take full advantage of savings on these models too.
£1,500 Electric Car Grant
The Electric Car Grant (ECG) has been introduced by the UK Government to help support electric vehicle ownership and accelerate the move towards Britain’s battery-electric future. Coming into effect immediately, customers purchasing a new vehicle that meets select criteria will benefit from the Electric Car Grant and a reduction of the list price.
The PEUGEOT E-208, E-2008 and E-RIFTER all receive a £1,500 saving on their list price. With the Electric Car Grant applied, an E-208 will now be available from just £28,650, and likewise, the E-2008 and E-RIFTER are available from £33,900 and from £30,850, respectively. The Electric Car Grant will be available across all 100% electric versions, as well as on all trim levels.
Ahead of official government confirmation, PEUGEOT UK is also underwriting the Electric Car Grant on the new E-408, E-308, E-308 SW, and E-TRAVELLER*, meaning retail customers can enjoy a £1,500 saving on these models from today.
Nicola Dobson, PEUGEOT UK Managing Director, said: “PEUGEOT already offers the most extensive electric line-up of any mainstream brand in Europe, and the Electric Car Grant makes the move to electric even more accessible on E-208, E-2008 and E-RIFTER. To present our customers with the best possible offers, we’re also applying it to the new E-408, E-308, E-308 SW and E-TRAVELLER ahead of official confirmation. We welcome this UK Government initiative to give consumers confidence and lower the barrier to EV ownership.”
PEUGEOT EV Contribution Enhancements
In addition to the £1,500 Electric Car Grant, PEUGEOT has strengthened its electric vehicle offers on these models with PEUGEOT Contributions enhanced by up to £4,500. This delivers significant savings, reducing four-year monthly PCP payments by up to £145.
