PEUGEOT 5008 SUV AND EXPERT VAN TAKE HONOURS AT THE 2019 BUSINESS MOTORING AND BUSINESS VANS AWARDS

PEUGEOT’s versatile seven-seater 5008 SUV and Expert van both collected trophies at the Business Motoring and Business Vans awards in London yesterday.

The 5008 SUV Allure 1.5L BlueHDi 130 manual was named ‘Best Medium SUV’ at the ceremony, staged at the Seven Dials Club at Covent Garden in London.

Managing Editor Chris Wright said: “As well as being a good all-rounder our judges like the 5008 SUV because SME customers are offered access to PEUGEOT’s online service booking and service plans. Fleet customers large and small have access to SMR and Menu pricing. PEUGEOT tailors its services and there is a range of finance packages designed to meet the needs of SME customers.”

The award for the ‘Best Large Trades Van’ went to the PEUGEOT Expert Professional Standard BlueHDi 115 S&S manual 1000kg.

“What the judges liked about the PEUGEOT Expert van was the versatility of the range, available in three lengths, as well as Crew Van and Platform Cab options and the low fuel consumption”, commented Chris Wright, “Also impressive is the after sales support. Included in the PEUGEOT Dealer network are around 50 Business Centres with dedicated local business executives trained to offer B2B support and 130 Business Essentials Centres.”

Both models are no strangers to the winner’s podium. The PEUGEOT 5008 SUV was named “Large SUV of the Year” for the second year running in the What Car? Awards in January, while the PEUGEOT Expert has won a string of awards since its launch at the Commercial Vehicle Show in 2016.
