PEUGEOT can confirm that the E-308, E-308 SW and E-408 officially join the E-208, E-2008 and E-RIFTER in being eligible for the UK government’s Electric Car Grant (ECG), saving customers £1,500 off their list price.

The new PEUGEOT 308 range combines driving pleasure, refined design and advanced technology, offering a choice of efficient powertrains – including the all-electric E-308 with up to 281 miles of range. Showcasing French design flair, the 308 is the first in the line-up to feature PEUGEOT’s new illuminated emblem, accompanied by a redesigned grille and striking three-claw light signature for an even stronger road presence. The new PEUGEOT 308 also delivers a seamless and serene driving experience with enhanced connected services, as well as Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) and Plug & Charge functionality.

PEUGEOT welcomes confirmation that the Plug-in Van Grant (PiVG) will continue until at least 2027. The brand currently offers the widest electric vehicle line-up of any mainstream European brand, including an all-electric variant across its entire light commercial vehicle (LCV) range.

PEUGEOT has announced the first wave of models officially confirmed eligible for the UK Electric Car Grant, with the E-208, E-2008 and E-RIFTER all benefitting from a £1,500 saving on their on-the-road (OTR) price. Ahead of official government confirmation, PEUGEOT is also guaranteeing the £1,500 grant on the new E-408, E-308, E-308 SW, and E-TRAVELLER, so retail customers can take full advantage of savings on these models too.

PEUGEOT UK has recognised its top-performing retailers at the 2025 Guild of Gold Lion Awards, celebrating excellence across its national network. This year’s event took place at London’s Saatchi Gallery, where attendees were given private access to PEUGEOT’s exclusive Powered by Nature exhibition, an exploration of innovation and sustainable design by the natural world.

According to research conducted by PEUGEOT, there are notable generational differences in how children entertain themselves on long car journeys compared to adults*. The study among 2,000 UK parents revealed that a mere 8% of children never use tech on long car journeys. 

PEUGEOT is introducing a third powertrain option for its E-3008 and E-5008 models. The new Dual Motor version features an additional electric motor for the rear axle, combining a total power output of 325hp with the efficiency and safety of all-wheel drive. Orders are open now for the flagship Dual Motor Launch Edition, with first deliveries expected from Q4 2025.
