01 April 2025 – After its world premiere on 16 August at “The Quail” during California’s Monterey Car Week, and the most recent international media drive held in Spain, from the charming city of Marbella to the private Ascari circuit, Maserati has opened ordering for its eagerly anticipated new road car flagship, GT2 Stradale.

The road-legal version of the racing GT2, that took the House of the Trident back to the track in the closed-wheel championships, takes its roots from the multi-award-winning MC20 super sports car to the ultimate heights in terms of agility, looks and performance.

GT2 Stradale is a car born on the track and type-approved for use on the road, seamlessly blending the extreme, sophisticated performance of the racing world with the ability to deliver uncompromising driving comfort. Powered by the renowned three-litre, twin-turbo V6 Nettuno engine, welcomes a power increase of 10hp to 640hp over the MC20 Coupé and Cielo, as well as reduced weight of 60 kg, enabling it to hit a top speed of 202 mph. It also dispatches 0 to 62 mph in just 2.8 seconds.

As mentioned on the specific badge positioned on the central tunnel, GT2 Stradale is available in only 914 units. The lettering “1 of 914” is an explicit reference to 1914, the year Maserati was founded. And for celebrating the incredible results of Maserati in the 2024 GT2 FANATEC championship, it will be available in an ‘Edizione Corse’, a special edition of just 16 units (as per the number of Podiums) worldwide.

This range-topping Edizione Corse version comes with a plethora of additional features to underline Maserati’s racing DNA heritage, including a titanium racing-only exhaust kit, lightweight ‘Monodado’ alloy wheels and an interior carbon fibre pack (incorporating the central tunnel, door sills, paddle shifters and cluster cap). It also comes with the Maserati Corse Logo on the C-pillar to stress the Brand’s racing DNA, plus, a specific plaque on the engine cover and an exclusive car cover by Goodwool. For discerning drivers wishing to reflect their racing credentials, the ‘Edizione Corse’ also comes with a full Maserati and Sparco racing kit (including branded helmet, race suit, balaclava, duffle bag, gloves and shoes). Rounding off the comprehensive package is the inclusion of an adrenalin-fuelled Maserati Racetrack Academy trip with GT2 race car experience in Italy.

Whether it's the standard or upgraded version, the GT2 Stradale is sure to captivate with its specific racing derived contents, such as the Single nut forged wheels, monocoque carbon fibre seats with Alcantara pads, new carbon fibre and Alcantara steering wheels with Shift Up Lights and refined aerodynamic enhancements. Features like the carbon fibre engine cover, front splitter, rear diffuser, roof, and rear wing not only reduce weight, but also provide up to 500kg of downforce, ensuring supreme agility on the tarmac.

Under the skin, GT2 Stradale drivers can tailor their cars to their specific road and track requirements through two dedicated optional packs. The first, Performance Pack, includes the louvered fenders, to facilitate the dissipation of heat generated by the Upgraded Racing Carbon ceramic brakes (included into the pack), combined with the Michelin Pilot sport Cup 2 R, Specific GT2 E-LSD setting and the GT2 Corsa EVO driving mode, with 4 specific CORSA modes to guarantee the maximum racing performance in all the situation. The second, Performance Pack Plus, extends things even further, with a harness bar, four-points seatbelts and fire extinguisher in its set up, emphasising GT2 Stradale’s track soul.

The GT2 Stradale comes in black (Nero Essenza) as standard, with a choice of three metallic shades – Bianco Audace Matte, Giallo Genio and Blu Infinito. Plus, eight Fuoriserie colours from the brand’s customisation program, including Digital Mint Matte, Powder Nude Texturized and of course, Blu Corse.

Maserati line-up includes the Grecale, the “everyday exceptional” SUV, the GranTurismo, the iconic Italian grand tourer, and the GranCabrio, the new convertible of the Trident; all models characterized by the use of the highest quality materials and excellent technical solutions. A range equipped with 4-cylinder hybrid powertrains – available for Grecale – and V6 petrol, with rear-wheel and four-wheel drive, embodying the performance DNA of the Trident brand. The top of the range is made up of the MC20 super sports car and the MC20 Cielo spyder, powered by the ground-breaking 100% Maserati Nettuno V6 engine, which incorporates F1-derived technologies into the power unit of a standard production car for the first time. The GranTurismo is available with both the high-performance V6 petrol engine, derived from the Nettuno, and a 100% electric version: the GranTurismo Folgore, the first car in the Modena-based brand’s history to adopt this solution. The full-electric range also currently includes the Grecale Folgore, Maserati’s first 100% electric SUV, and the GranCabrio Folgore. Finally, the House of the Trident's latest addition is the Maserati GT2 Stradale, the road-legal version of the GT2 that took Maserati back to the track in closed-wheel championships. The heart of the new super sports car is the V6 Nettuno engine, reaching 640 hp (471 kW) in the latter configuration. The GT2 Stradale is therefore the most powerful road-going Maserati with an internal combustion engine.
The mission at Maserati is to write the future of mobility in the luxury segment, focusing on its customers’ requests. The Brand, in line with the Stellantis “Dare Forward 2030” strategic plan, is now taking Italian luxury all over the world.
