Jeep® is excited to introduce the North Star special edition to the Renegade and Compass lineup. This powerful and stylish variant perfectly encapsulates the legendary adventurous spirit and rugged capability that the Jeep brand is known for. The North Star edition is not just a special release but a commemorative model to celebrate the sale of one million Renegade and Compass units in Europe by the end of 2024.

The North Star special edition fits within an innovative and simplified model lineup, designed to appeal to various consumer preferences with clarity. Positioned between the Altitude trim, known for its functional design, and the premium Summit level, the North Star offers a unique blend of style and sophistication. Its combination of practicality and premium features makes it a compelling choice for those seeking a balance between everyday functionality and high-end appeal.

This edition pays homage to the iconic Renegade and Compass models by building upon the features that have driven their success. The North Star emerges as a perfect blend of ruggedness, style, and the essence of the Jeep spirit.

Durability is a core feature of the North Star special edition. It introduces innovative, high-resistance materials for the seats, which are up to three times more durable than the standard fabric used in the Altitude trim. The Compass offers both cloth and vinyl options, while the Renegade is equipped with a highly durable cloth interior.

The design language of the North Star exudes sophistication, with a striking two-tone colour scheme. The dominant black highlights key details, such as the alloy wheels with summer tyres, along with interior and exterior elements. A dedicated bonnet decal, which reduces sun glare, further enhances the look. Complementing this is the exclusive Technogreen, a dark metallic green paint, which blends seamlessly with the black accents on the exterior and subtly extends to the interior with contrasting stitching on the dashboard and fabric.

True to the open-air ethos of Jeep, the North Star comes as standard with a dual-pane sunroof, finished in black to contrast with the Technogreen exterior. This feature embodies the brand’s commitment to freedom and adventure, enhancing the open-air driving experience that has long been synonymous with Jeep.

The North Star also boasts a host of functional and stylistic features. Sleek roof rails offer additional cargo versatility, while LED fog lamps ensure optimal visibility in challenging conditions. Black logos and badges add to its distinctive identity, with privacy glass contributing to a sleek, sophisticated appearance. The Compass is fitted with 18-inch black wheels, while the Renegade features 17-inch wheels. Both come with advanced front and rear parking sensors and parallel and perpendicular park assist for easier manoeuvring.

This special edition exclusively features hybrid powertrains, with no conventional engines available. Both models offer Hybrid 48V and 4xe variants, embracing the latest hybrid technology and underscoring the Jeep commitment to sustainability. This shift reflects a dedication to reducing environmental impact while maintaining the performance and reliability the brand is known for.

The North Star series represents a forward-thinking vision, where cutting-edge hybrid technology leads the way. This strategic decision aligns with global trends towards greater sustainability and efficiency, reinforcing Jeep’s leadership in integrating advanced technology while upholding its legendary capabilities.

Prices for Renegade starts from £32,699 OTR and Compass from £36,605 OTR. Orders will open on 10 October, 2024.
