SENSATIONAL SUMMER SPORTSCAR DEAL

The restyled Fiat Barchetta sportscar goes on sale in the UK later this summer. A wealth of extra standard equipment, together with a greatly reduced purchase price, make this attractive and sought-after roadster one of the most accessible convertible sportscars on the UK market.

Mechanically identical to the previous model and still built in left-hand drive only, the restyled Barchetta is powered by Fiat Auto's 16-valve, twin overhead camshaft 1.8 litre VVT engine, which produces 130 bhp, giving the vehicle a top speed of
124 mph, with 0-62 mph acceleration in 8.9 seconds.

Standard equipment includes power steering and ABS anti-lock braking, as previously.

However, additional standard specification now includes a passenger airbag, CD player, foglights, electrically operated door mirrors, a leather steering wheel and gearknob, and an electric aerial.

Despite this significantly increased specification, the restyled Barchetta goes on sale here at just £10,995.00 OTR, some £2800 cheaper than the previous model.
