NEW ELECTRIC FIAT 500 WINS AUTO EXPRESS CITY CAR OF THE YEAR 2021

The fully-electric New Fiat 500 continues to gain recognition, picking up another prominent automotive award. This time, the all-new city car has been named City Car of the Year in the annual Auto Express awards.

Judges praised the car for its unrivalled range and affordability, along with its notable quality finish and updated technology, completing the city car brief brilliantly and helping the New 500 secure its title.

Made up of multiple trim levels – Action, Passion, Icon and La Prima, – the New 500 range was recognised by the team at Auto Express as being great value for money, stylish and having fantastic real world range.

The New 500 is the first fully-electric vehicle from Fiat and provides a range of best-in-class features such as Level 2 autonomous driving technologies, a variety of battery options and a substantial driving range of up to 199 miles – the longest range of any electric city car on the market today.

The car boasts three driving modes to choose from: Normal, Range and Sherpa, and are designed to assist and enhance the driving experience and manage energy efficiency. Range mode offers a one-pedal driving capability, perfect for city driving, combined with smoother acceleration and regenerative braking that can be used to bring the New 500 to a complete stop.
