Indications of Fiat Auto's commitment to be competitive in all aspects of business are provided by the company's latest summer consumer offers. Available throughout its UK dealer network, these offers provide customers with affordable, value-for-money propositions that are sufficiently attractive to be comparable to those available over a decade ago.

For example, in 1992 a Fiat Uno 1.0 ie Fire 3-door cost £6264 OTR; whereas, today, the new Punto range starts at just £5995 OTR.

Thus, for less than £6000, Fiat customers can choose a safe, modern, space-efficient supermini, (Punto Mia), featuring standard equipment that includes Dualdrive electronic power steering, a driver's airbag, a four-speaker RDS stereo radio/cassette player and a factory fitted immobiliser.

All the latest Fiat Auto offers, which extend throughout the company's model ranges, are available until the end of September 2002.

At the lower end of the range, the Seicento S city car is now available at £4995 OTR. Representing a saving of almost £1000 over list price, it comes equipped with electronic power steering, driver's airbag, two speaker radio/cassette player and an engine immobiliser, all as standard equipment.

A new special edition version, called Seicento Sound, has also just gone on sale throughout the company's UK dealer network.

Seicento Sound is based on the entry level Seicento S version, and aimed primarily at younger customers who will find its looks, sound system, affordability and associated insurance deal notably attractive. Seicento Sound is equipped with a powerful Sony RDS stereo radio/cassette player with two speakers, plus a six-disc Sony CD auto-changer as standard equipment. This attractive latter feature is unique to the segment.

The special edition Seicento Sound also benefits from a number of associated finance offers, including free insurance, or 0% finance over three years with a 20% deposit, and at just £5595 on the road, represents an affordable, fun package for the younger driver. Seicento Sound also boasts low CO₂ emissions, low fuel consumption and the lowest insurance group in its class.

Stilo, Fiat Auto's all-new mid-size 3 and 5-door hatchback range, now starts at £8995 OTR for the 1.2 16v Active 3dr, representing a saving of £1840 over the list price. Stilo 1.2 Active 3dr comes equipped with ABS anti-lock braking, traction control, remote central locking, six airbags and Dualdrive electronic power steering, all as standard equipment.

In addition, there are attractive new deals available on both the Fiat Doblò and Fiat Multipla MPV ranges. The Doblò range now starts at just £7995 OTR for the 1.2 MPI 8v SX, and the new model year Multipla range starts at £11,995 OTR for the 100 16v SX.

All Fiat cars come with a comprehensive three-year warranty and roadside service package, made up of a two-year unlimited mileage manufacturer warranty, and a third year dealer warranty with a mileage limit of 60,000 from the date of first registration. The package includes three years' Fiat AA Assurance cover, consisting of Roadside Assistance, Home Start, Relay, Relay Plus and European cover.
