Fiat Grande Panda wins 2026 EcoCar Electrified Car of the Year
Fiat Grande Panda awarded 2026 Electrified Car of the Year by EcoCar. Also named Best Affordable Electric Car. The Fiat Grande Panda has been crowned Electrified Car of the Year by EcoCar magazine in its Electrified Top 50 Awards 2026 and was also named Best Affordable Electric Car. The awards underscores the appeal of Grande Panda’s innovative design, practicality and affordability; it is latest in a long list of accolades for FIAT’s uniquely styled city car.
Designed at FIAT’s Centro Stile in Turin, the Grande Panda is notable for its compact size, clean lines and organised interior. It draws inspiration from the iconic Fiat Panda of the 1980s, reflecting the brand’s signature style and offering an ideal mobility solution for both family and urban life.
Fiat Grande Panda is available with a choice of powertrains. The fully electric versions combine a 44kWh battery with an 83kW e-motor (113 HP), to deliver a WLTP range of 199 miles. Alternatively, the hybrid version features a 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder engine delivering 110 HP, coupled with a 48-volt Li-ion battery and eDCT (‘easy drive’ 6-speed automatic transmission).

On-the-road pricing for the Fiat Grande Panda hybrid range starts from £18,995. Fully electric versions start at £20,995, reinforcing Grande Panda’s position as one of the most accessible electric vehicles on the market today.
