FIAT PROFESSIONAL’S DOBLO CARGO SECURES WHAT VAN? AWARDS HAT TRICK

Fiat Professional's widely acclaimed Doblò Cargo, launched in the UK in March 2010, has just secured an enviable hat trick of wins, securing the prestigious Light Van of the Year category in the 2013 What Van? Awards for the third year in succession.

The What Van? Awards have been the UK's top light commercial vehicle prizes for more than two decades, awarded over 12 categories and decided by the title's expert editorial team that share decades of LCV experience.

What Vans?'s Judging experts were once again impressed with Doblò Cargo's blend of versatility, practicality, economy, driveability and the great value proposition that it represents.

"Fiat's Doblò Cargo remains the most appealing light van in the market, combining good value with class leading ride and handling and a range of efficient diesel engines, as well as a versatile line-up of models," said What Van? Editor Paul Barker. "This third consecutive victory is entirely deserved in a competitive sector."

Commenting on the award, Sebastiano Fedrigo, director, Fiat Professional UK says: "Our class-leading Doblò Cargo continues to impress both the experts and customers alike, and for it to be voted What Van? Light Van of the Year for the third year in a row provides further testimony to the all-round qualities of this excellent vehicle.

"We have further enhanced the Doblò Cargo range with the recent introduction of the Doblò Work Up and Doblò XL versions to offer even more choice for our valued customers."

Fiat Professional's Doblò Cargo sits on an all-new platform that makes it a class leader in all the areas that matter most to professional drivers. It has great carrying capacity in both weight and size terms: up to 1 ton payload and up to 5.0 m3 volume. The new Bi-Link suspension ensures a smooth ride, and a new range of Euro 5-compliant engines makes it cleaner and cheaper to run.
