The 11 teams that make up the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship will meet in Tokyo this weekend from May 17-18 for rounds eight and nine of Season 11.

Situated around the Tokyo Big Sight exhibition centre, the 2.5-kilometre Japanese track consists of long straights, tight corners, and fast sequences that combine to make up a very technical layout.

At the mid-point of the season, the all-electric championship remains closely fought. DS Automobiles and PENSKE AUTOSPORT aim to be back amongst the podium places of the teams’ championship by the end of this weekend’s double-header.

The French American team can rely on the performance of their DS E-TENSE FE25 cars as well as on the experience of Jean-Eric Vergne, Formula E’s only double champion, and Maximilian Günther: the big winner of the Tokyo E-Prix in 2024.

The races will take place on Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th May at 08:00 CET (15:00 local time).

Eugenio Franzetti, DS Performance director:

“We can’t wait to get to Tokyo and be able to fight to get back onto the championship podium. Despite some good preparation and plenty of work, we didn’t score many points from the last three races. So, we need to get back on course and look for better results. I know that we have the means to do it, as our DS E-TENSE FE25 is competitive and our driver line-up unequalled!”

Key figures since DS Automobiles entered Formula E:

  • 128 races
  • 4 championship titles
  • 17 victories
  • 52 podiums
  • 25 pole positions
