DS AUTOMOBILES UNVEILS THE DS E-TENSE FE25 FOR SEASON 12 OF FORMULA E

• DS Automobiles and PENSKE AUTOSPORT have revealed the design of the DS E-TENSE FE25 that will make its debut in Valenica in the coming days  for pre-season Formula E testing

• Resplendent in its famous black and gold livery, the DS E-TENSE FE25 is set to be key for the Franco-American team

• Maximilian Günther and Taylor Barnard will take the wheel of the GEN3 Evo car developed by DS Performance

DS Automobiles, a cornerstone of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship since season 2 with an impressive record that includes two double titles, 137 races, 55 podiums, 18 wins, and 26 pole positions – is set to embark on its 11th season of competition in the all-electric series this year.

As official testing prepares to get underway at Spain’s Ricardo Tormo circuit in Valencia from 27-31 October, the French premium constructor from the Stellantis Group today reveals the latest design of its electric single-seater.

Characterised once more by the black and gold colours that have come to symbolise DS Automobiles on circuits around the world, the two DS E-TENSE FE25 driven by Maximilian Günther (race number 7) and Taylor Barnard (race number 77) feature new visual accents on key elements of the car including  the halo, mirrors and front and rear wings to make the DS PENSKE livery stand out even more. Beneath the surface,  the powerplant developed by DS Performance continues to embody the marque’s expertise in electric technology.

With Maximilian Günther, who claimed two victories and two pole positions in Season 11 alongside Formula E rising star Taylor Barnard, who secured five podiums and two pole positions in just 19 races, DS Automobiles is determined to build on its impressive record with new victories and championship titles.

Following the official test in Valencia, the ABB FIA Formula E championship gets underway in Sao Paulo, Brazil on December 6 for the first race of Season 12, which will feature 17 races around the globe.
