DS AUTOMOBILES KICKS OFF ITS 11th SEASON IN FORMULA E!

• The Sao Paulo E-Prix will open Season 12 of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship on Saturday 6^th December

• DS Automobiles, a competitor in Formula E since 2015, enters its 11th year in the series

• With drivers Taylor Barnard and Maximilian Günther, DS Automobiles and PENSKE AUTOSPORT aim to be among the leaders of the all-electric series

Formula E will once again host the season-opener in the city of Sao Paulo and its famous Sambadrome. The 2.9km Brazilian circuit, defined by long straights and demanding technical corners, promises plenty of action and drama for the 10 teams on the grid.

This season’s goal for DS Automobiles and its partner PENSKE AUTOSPORT is clear: to win races and secure a place on the final championship podium. To achieve this, the team can rely on the rising talent of up-and-coming youngster Taylor Barnard. The 21-year-old Briton, who has claimed five podiums and two pole positions in just 19 races, is ready to continue his charge for points and podiums.

DS PENSKE will also benefit from the experience of Maximilian Günther. A prominent figure in Formula E since 2018, the German driver will celebrate his 100th Formula E race in Sao Paulo this weekend.

The Franco-American squad can also count on the technical expertise of its entire crew and the performance of the DS E-TENSE FE25, which features updated software settings for the new campaign.

DS Automobiles has been involved in the all-electric series since Season 2 (in 2015) and will begin its 11th season of Formula E this weekend in Brazil. The French premium brand from the Stellantis group – already the winner of two double titles, 55 podiums, 18 victories, and 26 pole positions now, aims to add to its impressive track record.

The Sao Paulo E-Prix gets underway on Saturday 6 December at 17:00 GMT.
