DS Automobiles partnership with Events-in-the-Sky takes-off with gastronomic view of London The first of the two-week DS sponsored event had a menu prepared by Michelin-starred chef and DS Chef and DS Brand Ambassador Pascal Aussignac delighted 22 guests with a bespoke dinner at a ‘table in the sky’ suspended 100 feet in the air The evening was also part of the UK Tour of the DS 7 CROSSBACK – the SUV from DS


DS Automobiles is lead partner of the UK Events-in-the-Sky activities now operational in Chelsea, London and soon at venues in Newcastle, Bristol and Southampton, where participants dine at a table suspended 100 feet in the sky. The London event-in-the-Sky has just started and provides a unique experience with the first nights guests enjoying the chance to taste a Michelin-starred menu created by DS Brand Ambassador Pascal Aussignac, while seated with a view of MI5, the palace of Westminster, the Shard and other notable London landmarks. Attendees were also able to see at first hand DS 7 CROSSBACK, the new SUV from DS, as part of the brands products on display.

Following the involvement in the prestigious food festival Taste of London, where Pascal, helped by four up and coming avant-garde protégé chefs, prepared a surprising insect based menu, DS continues to stand out through gastronomy focused activities that complement its forward-thinking spirit.

With similar values of craftsmanship and innovation, gastronomy is, alongside competing in motor sport with Formula E, an area of interest for the marque. Appointing chef Pascal Aussignac of Michelin-starred restaurant Club Gascon as a UK brand ambassador reinforces the DS positioning in the high-cuisine sector, a very typically French specialism that engages directly with the luxury-minded consumer. An innovative take on traditional dishes, a penchant for versatility and attention to detail is what makes Aussignac’s cuisine stand out, and is a perfect match for the DS brand.

On his involvement in Diner-in-the-Sky Pascal commented: ”After working in the restaurant industry for so many years, I am delighted to be part of an event that gives a unique experience for customers to sample good taste from a perfect viewpoint”.

Aimed at customers who are in tune with the latest trends, appreciate the world of luxury and prefer to express their unique personality, the new SUV embodies the perfect balance between comfort and style.
