DS 7 AT THE HEART OF THE CHAMPS ÉLYSÉE PARADE DURING STATE VISIT TO FRANCE BY KING CHARLES III AND QUEEN CAMILLA

• DS 7 PRESIDENTIEL hosted His Majesty King Charles III and President Emmanuel Macron during parade down the Champs Elysee to celebrate the state visit to France

DS Automobiles welcomed Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla to Paris this week as His Majesty The King and visited Paris. The King and French President Emmanuel Macron rode in a bespoke DS 7 PRESIDENTIEL down the Avenue de Champs Elysée as part of a parade to celebrate the visit. This visit reflects the depth of the historical ties that unite France and the United Kingdom and demonstrated the finest examples of French design, art, culture and gastronomy.

The two Heads of State paraded in the DS 7 PRESIDENTIEL, with a bespoke open-top roof with signatures of the French Republic.  The black Art Leather interior showcases French design and was conceived and manufactured by Atelier Maury.

Queen Camilla and Brigitte Macron were escorted in a DS 7 ÉLYSÉE which joined the Presidency of the French Republic’s fleet in 2021. DS 7 ÉLYSÉE is a unique design based on DS 7 E-TENSE 4x4 300 with an elongated chassis and other special features. DS 7 ÉLYSÉE is part of a long line of DS models made specifically for the Presidency of the Republic.

This state visit symbolises the friendship and trust between the President of the Republic and His Majesty the King, who have worked closely together in the past to protect biodiversity and combat global warming. DS Automobiles is fully committed to the energy transition. From 2024, all new models will be exclusively 100% electric.
