Stellantis Named Bodyshop’s Vehicle Manufacturer Of The Year

STELLANTIS NAMED BODYSHOP’S VEHICLE MANUFACTURER OF THE YEAR

Stellantis Named Bodyshop’s Vehicle Manufacturer Of The Year

Stellantis has been named ‘Vehicle Manufacturer of the Year’ at the bodyshop Awards 2022. This is the second consecutive year that Stellantis has won the prestigious award after taking home the accolade in 2021.

Stellantis saw off competition from other finalists, Volkswagen Group and Kia to win the award. The 2022 awards were judged by a panel of 12 experts, including representatives of the UK collision repair industry, plus three from bodyshop magazine.

The Manufacturer of the Year category is judged based on the strength of the overall programme of the nominees’ own Approved Repairer Network as well as benefit for Insurers, Work Providers and Accident Management Companies.

Stellantis was named the 2022 winner thanks to its efforts to combine all brands into one programme, working closely with and supporting the repairers, its customer centric focus, progress with carbon neutrality and cyber security, online services portal and an innovative training programme.

bodyshop magazine editor Simon Wait said: “We’ve enjoyed another fantastic evening at the bodyshop Awards, recognising and celebrating the best of the best in the UK collision repair industry in 2022. Our independent panel of expert industry judges chose Stellantis as Vehicle Manufacturer of the Year for a second year running because of the advances they continue to build across their approved repairer network. Well done team Stellantis.”

Chris Downing, Head of Accident Repair at Stellantis, said: “I am incredibly proud that Stellantis has been named winner of bodyshop magazine’s ‘Vehicle Manufacturer of the Year’ award for a second year running. Once again, we came up against some tough competition, and it is great to see our services being rewarded with the praise they deserve. At Stellantis we all work together as a team, and this award highlights the strengths across all departments of the business.”

The bodyshop Awards took place at a ceremony at the International Convention Centre Wales on Wednesday 12th October.
