TOP CITROËN RETAILERS CELEBRATED AT ANNUAL CUBE AWARDS

• CUBE Awards honour the best Citroën retailers and individuals across the UK network.
• Citroën United By Excellence (CUBE) Awards Programme sees retailers of similar sizes compete against one another across the country.
• Howards Taunton named ‘Overall Retailer of the Year’ and ‘Large Retailer of the Year’.

Citroën UK has recognised the achievements of its retailer network, and the individuals working within it, at its annual CUBE retailer awards. The event was held on Thursday 11 May at Horwood House Hotel in Buckinghamshire, hosted by comedian Suzi Ruffell.

This year, the awards acknowledge the best-performing retailers across numerous categories, as well as highlighting the top sales executives, and retailers who have most improved their performance over the past 12 months. The evening concluded with Citroën naming its ‘Overall Retailer of the Year’ for 2022.

As part of the CUBE (Citroën United By Excellence) programme, retailers are grouped into ‘Teams’ based on their size, allowing those with comparable opportunities to compete against other retailers across the country.

The Citroën UK ‘Overall Retailer of the Year' prize went to Howards Citroën in Taunton, thanks to the retailer’s continuous strong performance throughout this year. Yeomans Exeter and Howards Weston-super-Mare were second and third respectively.

Greg Taylor, Citroën UK’s Managing Director, said: “2022 was another year of challenge for manufacturers, but our retail network continued to offer our customers exceptional service and demonstrated great drive and resilience. It is this excellent Citroën spirit we acknowledge with these awards. Congratulations to Howards Citroën in Taunton for a tremendous year, and to all of our fantastic retailers.”

The awards recognise the best retailers across a variety of ‘Leagues’, including a New Retailer League, Small Retailer League, Medium Retailer League, and Large Retailer League – with winners named across each category.

The event also recognised the best performers in Aftersales and CSI, as well as ‘Best Retail Sales Executive’ – with Mark Haworth from Chorley Group Bolton, taking the top honour.
