CITROËN UK OPENS ORDERS FOR UPDATED Ë-C4 AND Ë-C4 X FEATURING NEXT-GENERATION ELECTRIC POWERTRAIN AND NEW Ë-SERIES TRIM

Citroën UK is taking orders for the latest versions of ë-C4 and ë-C4 X with the brand’s next-generation electric powertrain and new ë-Series trim. Prices start at £37,195 OTR for both ë-C4 and ë-C4 X.

Auto Express Driver Power ‘Car of the Year’ winner 2023 – Citroën ë-C4 – and New ë-C4 X are now available with Citroën’s latest-generation 54kWh battery technology and an uprated 115kW electric motor. The new all-electric powertrain helps both ë-C4 and ë-C4 X achieve up to 260 miles of EV range between charges (WLTP) – a circa 17% improvement over the existing 50kWh battery option. A 7.4kW single-phase on-board charger is standard specification across both ë-C4 and ë-C4 X, with both models also supporting up to 100kW rapid charging, with an 80% charge completed in around 30 minutes.

Alongside the new electric powertrain, ë-C4 and ë-C4 X are also now available with Citroën’s recently introduced ë-Series trim level, which adds bespoke styling cues and latest technologies.

Ë-Series trim is available across Citroën’s core electrified range – ë-C4, ë-C4 X, C5 Aircross Hybrid 136, and C5 Aircross Plug-in Hybrid. Ë-Series versions stand out with distinctive styling, additional interior features, and enhanced technologies benefiting both drivers and passengers.

Ë-C4

Citroën ë-C4 hatchback is now available with two fully electric powertrains. The 50kWh battery and 100kW (136hp) electric motor combination is capable of up to 221 miles between charges (WLTP). New ë-Series models are available with both the 50kWh battery pack and 100kW electric motor, and the new 54kWh battery and 115kW (156hp) electric motor, delivering up to 260 miles between charges (WLTP). Importantly, both models feature heat pump technology to improve battery performance in a variety of driving conditions.

ë-C4 is now available in three trims: ‘Sense’, ‘C-Series Edition’ and ‘ë-Series’.

‘Sense’ models come with 18-inch diamond-cut ‘Crosslight’ alloy wheels, body-coloured bumpers, tinted windows, and LED headlights. A 5.5-inch digital instrument display is found inside the car, alongside a 10-inch central touchscreen, with Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto as standard. Urban Grey interior ambience – with grey ‘Chevron’ cloth and black leather effect textile seats – adds to the calming atmosphere on-board, while safety is improved via Active Safety Brake with video assist, Speed Limit Information, Cruise Control, Forward Collision Warning and Citroën Connect Box Emergency & Assistance System.

Advanced Comfort Suspension® is standard specification, with comfort and convenience further improved via automatic headlights and windscreen wipers, Keyless Entry & Start, and rear parking sensors. A high-level acoustic insulation pack adds to the serenity onboard.

‘C-Series Edition’ models offer an Anodised Bronze Colour Pack and bespoke C-Series badging. Inside, the 10-inch touchscreen features My Citroën Drive Plus, with Connected Navigation and a three-year subscription to real-time traffic and speed camera alerts. Comfort is enhanced via heated driver and front passenger seats, alongside additional safety features such as video and radar-assisted Active Safety Brake, which can detect cyclists and pedestrians.

New ë-Series models stand out with a bi-tone Perla Nera Black roof, 18-inch Onyx Black ‘Aeroblade’ alloy wheels, and a Dark Chrome Colour Pack. Inside, Citroën’s HiFi System elevates the on-board listening experience, while the Advanced Comfort® seats come with Alcantara® textile that adds a subtle opulence to the interior. Wireless smartphone charging adds to the convenience features inside the cabin.

Ë-C4 X

ë-C4 X is also now available with two all-electric powertrains. Customers can choose either the 50kWh battery and 100kW (136hp) electric motor combination, which is capable of up to 223 miles (WLTP) between charges, or the new 54kWh and 115kW (156hp) powertrain with up to 260 miles of range (WLTP).

As with ë-C4, the new 115kW electric powertrain is exclusively available in cross-range ë-Series trim. Ë-Series versions replace the previous ‘Shine Plus’ variants, boosting Citroën’s electrification strategy by offering buyers even more style, use of recycled materials, and improved technologies.

ë-C4 X is now available in three trims: ‘Sense’, ‘Shine’ and ‘ë-Series’.

‘Sense’ models feature 18-inch bi-tone diamond-cut ‘Crosslight’ alloy wheels, body-coloured bumpers and LED headlights. A 5.5-inch digital instrument cluster is complemented by a 10-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto.

Safety is enhanced thanks to Active Safety Brake with video assist, Lane Keeping Assist, and Forward Collision Warning, alongside Citroën Connect Box Emergency & Assistance. Rear parking sensors add to the convenience, and crucially, comfort is assured with Advanced Comfort Suspension® for a smooth ride. A high-level acoustic insulation pack adds to the feeling of serenity inside.

‘Shine’ models boast dark-tinted rear windows with chrome trim. Inside, all models come with My Citroën Drive Plus with navigation that includes a three-year subscription to real-time traffic and speed camera alerts. Ambient lighting enhances the interior atmosphere, while Citroën Smart Pad Support – an integrated tablet computer holder for the front passenger – adds to passenger comfort and convenience.

Ease-of-use is assured with a reversing camera and Automatic Intelligent Beam Headlights that automatically switch between dipped and main beam. Safety is enhanced via Active Safety Brake with video and radar assist, Speed Limit Information and Extended Traffic Sign Recognition.

Finally, ë-Series models come with new styling cues to ensure they stand out on the road. The bi-tone Perla Nera Black roof is standard on all versions, as are the distinctive 18-inch Onyx Black ‘Aeroblade’ wheels. Citroën’s Dark Chrome Colour Pack – new to ë-C4 X – further enhances the styling.

Inside, wireless smartphone charging adds to the convenience on-board. Citroën’s HiFi System elevates the listening experience, while the Advanced Comfort® seats are finished with Alcantara®, which adds a subtle opulence to the interior. The front seats are also heated, for further comfort during the winter months.
