CITROËN UK INTRODUCES NEW ONLINE RESERVATION PLATFORM AND TRIM LEVELS FOR ITS LCV RANGE

• Citroën UK introduces new online platform that allows customers to reserve the LCV of their choice with a fully refundable £199 reservation fee, plus the option of home or office delivery.
• New platform also allows buyers to choose their most convenient Citroën Business Centre to supply the vehicle and assigns a local Business Manager to each customer to manage the process.
• At the same time, Citroën announces new trim levels for Berlingo Van, ë-Berlingo Van, Dispatch, ë-Dispatch, Relay and ë-Relay.
• ‘Enterprise Edition’ is optimised to meet the needs of fleets and SME business users.
• ‘Driver Edition’ features additional technologies and styling cues.

Citroën UK has introduced a new online reservation platform for its Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) range, beginning with Berlingo Van. The Citroën brand has also unveiled new trim levels for its entire van range – Berlingo Van and ë-Berlingo Van, Dispatch and ë-Dispatch, Relay and ë-Relay.

1. NEW LCV RESERVATION PLATFORM

Now available via the Citroën UK website, the new LCV reservation platform is part of Citroën’s omnichannel approach, designed to make the purchasing process as simple as possible for customers. The new platform will be rolled out across the Citroën Light Commercial Vehicle range in 2023, and can already be used to reserve the ever-popular Berlingo Van and ë-Berlingo Van models. Customers who place an initial reservation online with a fully refundable £199 reservation fee, will be contacted within one business hour to confirm all the details and add any part exchange appraisal. Customers will then have the opportunity to pick their preferred Business Centre to supply the vehicle. A local Business Manager will then contact the customer to finalise and complete the order. Customers who progress their online reservation through to a confirmed order will benefit from priority build and the option of home or office delivery.

In line with Citroën’s ‘Fair Pricing’ policy, customers can tailor the mileage, deposit, advance rental and length of term, along with the opportunity to add details of a part exchange before progressing with their reservation.

2. NEW TRIM LEVELS ACROSS THE LCV RANGE

Building on Citroën’s established reputation for supplying LCVs to suit all fleet and business needs, the new trim levels introduced for Berlingo Van and ë-Berlingo Van, and Dispatch and ë-Dispatch are the ‘Enterprise Edition’ and ‘Driver Edition’. The two new trim levels replace the previous ‘Enterprise Pro’ and ‘Driver Pro’ versions.

For Relay and ë-Relay models, ‘Enterprise’ and ‘Driver’ trims have been replaced with a single ‘Enterprise Edition’ trim.

3. BERLINGO VAN AND Ë-BERLINGO VAN

The ever-popular Berlingo Van and ë-Berlingo Panel Van models are available in both trim levels in M and XL lengths, and XL length in ‘Enterprise Edition’ trim for the five-seater Crew Van. Panel Vans are available with a payload from 650kg up to 1,000kg. All-electric ë-Berlingo Van variants can be specified in either M or XL length with a payload from 750kg to 800kg. Crew Vans have a payload of 843kg in XL length. The ë-Berlingo Crew Van variants are available with a payload of 721kg.

‘Enterprise Edition’ versions have been specified with the equipment and technologies that businesses and fleet operators most commonly seek in their vans. As standard, ‘Enterprise Edition’ variants come with air conditioning, cruise control with a variable speed limiter, electric windows with one-touch operation, and electrically adjustable door mirrors. Standard safety technology includes Citroën Connect Box with Emergency and Assistance System, and an alarm. The infotainment system is controlled via an eight-inch colour touchscreen featuring Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto, or via the steering-mounted controls. Also standard is Bluetooth® connectivity, DAB radio and a USB port.

‘Driver Edition’ trim improves on ‘Enterprise Edition’ specification with additional technologies and styling enhancements. Customers benefit from automatic windscreen wipers with Magic Wash® washer jets integrated into the blades, rear parking sensors and a reversing camera, as well as electrically folding heated door mirrors. Additional styling enhancements include 16-inch wheels with ‘Twirl’ wheel trims or optional ‘Starlit’ black alloy wheels and a ‘Look Pack’, which adds body-coloured side rubbing strips and matching rear bumper.

Inside, ‘Driver Edition’ variants gain a six-way adjustable driver’s seat with an adjustable headrest, lumbar support and under-seat storage. Also included is the Extenso® modular folding passenger bench seat with pivoting writing table and additional storage. An automatic handbrake and Citroën Connect Navigation, a multi-function steering wheel and voice recognition all enhance convenience.

The winner of What Van? ‘Van of the Year’ 2022 and DrivingElectric ‘Best Small Electric Van’ 2023, ë-Berlingo Van features a 100kW electric motor producing 136hp and 260Nm of torque, and is capable of up to 171 miles of range (WLTP combined cycle). Supporting up to 100kW rapid charging, an 0-80% recharge takes just 30 minutes.

In addition to the standard equipment available, Citroën UK has also created a choice of five option packs to allow customers to adapt their van to their individual or business requirements.

4. DISPATCH AND Ë-DISPATCH

Dispatch vans can be specified either as an electric ë-Dispatch version with either a 50kWh or 75kWh battery, or with a range of efficient diesel engines. Dispatch and ë-Dispatch versions are available in both ‘Enterprise Edition’ and ‘Driver Edition’ trim, in either Panel Van, as six-seater Crew Van versions.

Panel Vans are available in either M or XL lengths, with payloads ranging from 1,170kg to 1,446kg depending on the chosen powertrain. The ë-Dispatch Panel Van variants are available in both M and XL length variants, and when equipped with the 50kWh battery have a payload of 1,226kg, while those equipped with the 75kWh battery have a payload of 1,002kg.

Dispatch ‘Enterprise Edition’ vans benefit from the latest Citroën Connect Box with Emergency and Assistance System, cruise control with variable speed limiter, DAB radio, Bluetooth®, USB port and a seven-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto. Air conditioning, one-touch electric windows as well as electrically adjustable door mirrors and an alarm also feature as standard. Externally, Dispatch ‘Enterprise Edition’ benefits from 16-inch steel wheels with black centre caps and rear parking sensors. A dual passenger bench seat with a storage tray enhances the practicality of the cabin.

In addition to the standard equipment available on the ‘Enterprise Edition’, ‘Driver Edition’ variants add front fog lights, automatic lights with integrated LED daylight running lights, as well as automatic windscreen wipers and electrically folding heated door mirrors. ‘Driver Edition’ variants benefit from the latest Citroën Connect Nav with a three-year free subscription to real-time traffic updates included, as well as the Visio Park 180° camera. Building on the standard Dispatch’s storage space throughout the cabin, ‘Driver Edition’ vans also benefit from the Moduwork® dual passenger bench seat with a fold-up outer seat with a Moduwork® load-through flap, as well as a fold-down writing table in the central seat back with integrated storage compartment. Externally, ‘Driver Edition’ vans also gain the ‘Look Pack’ featuring body-coloured front and rear bumpers, side rubbing strips and exterior door handles as well as 17-inch wheels with wheel trims.

All ë-Dispatch LCVs are powered by a 100kW (136hp) electric motor and are available with either 50kW or 75kW batteries. Vans equipped with the 50kWh battery are capable of 137 miles on the WLTP combined cycle and 205 miles of range on the WLTP city cycle. Those equipped with the larger 75kWh battery are capable of 196 on the WLTP combined cycle and 267 miles of range on the WLTP city cycle. A charge using a rapid public 100kW charger from 0-80% will take 30 minutes for the 50kW battery, and 45 minutes for vehicles equipped with the larger 75kWh battery.

5. RELAY AND Ë-RELAY

Relay and ë-Relay models also benefit from a streamlined range across both the Panel Van and Window Van variants. Panel Vans are available in nine length and height configurations with a range of payloads from 1,380kg to 1,570kg depending on the configuration. The ë-Relay Panel Vans are available in two height and length configurations, both with a payload of 735kg. Window Van variants are available in two height and length configurations with either a 1,495kg or 1,870kg payload.

The streamlined ‘Enterprise Edition’ trim level available on all Relay and ë-Relay vans means that all models benefit as standard from air conditioning, cruise control with a variable speed limiter, electric front windows, and heated electrically adjustable mirrors. 15-inch or 16-inch steel wheels are standard depending on variant. All Relay and ë-Relay models benefit from the latest safety technologies, including ESC with Hill Start Assist, Emergency Brake Assist, Electronic Brake Force Distribution as well as remote central locking with deadlocking and a perimetric alarm.

In addition, drivers enjoy a seven-inch colour touchscreen with DAB Radio, Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto. There is also integrated satellite navigation, Bluetooth®, a USB socket and steering wheel-mounted controls for ease of use. Diesel variants also gain Telematic Box for Free2Move Connect Fleet Services for business customers.

Relay is available with a range of efficient diesel engines in both Panel Van and Window Van variants. The ë-Relay is available as a Panel Van with a 75kWh battery with a 90kW (120hp) electric motor and is capable of 154 miles of range on the WLTP combined cycle and can be charged from 0-80% in just 1 hour using a 50kW rapid charger.
