Citroën has announced that orders are now open for hybrid versions of its New C3. New C3 sits on a multi-energy platform that allows Citroën's customers the freedom to choose the powertrain that’s right for them, now including hybrid, along with electric and petrol. New C3 Hybrid features the brand's latest design identity, delivers best-in-class comfort, high levels of standard specification, and excellent value for money.

New C3 Hybrid features the Hybrid 110 powertrain. Complete with 48V Hybrid technology, the hybrid powertrain enables drivers to move solely on electric power at lower speeds for short distances. For urban journeys, this would mean New C3 Hybrid could drive for up to 50% of the time under electric power only. Thanks to the availability of the electric motor, when compared with turbo petrol versions, the hybrid benefits from improved efficiency, lower fuel consumption and over 10% reduction in CO₂ emissions.

New C3 is designed for urban and suburban environments, and the new hybrid powertrain, featuring a smooth-shifting ë-DCS6 6-speed dual clutch automatic transmission, offers effortless driving around town whilst supporting customers in their transition to electric motoring.

New C3 Hybrid offers a generous level of specification, like New C3 and New ë-C3, and is available in two trim levels, PLUS and MAX. New C3 Hybrid features an elegant lighting signature with automatic LED headlights and LED daytime running lights as standard. 17-inch Atacamite diamond cut bi-tone alloy wheels feature as standard, as well as a two-tone roof and interchangeable front and side colour clips that add personalisation to the vehicle.

Inside, New C3 Hybrid benefits from the Citroën Advanced Comfort® programme including the latest generation Advanced Comfort® seats with enhanced lateral support, and Advanced Comfort® suspension with the brand's patented Progressive Hydraulic Cushions, providing a serene drive and exceptional ride quality for all occupants.

Adding to the generous standard specification, New C3 Hybrid features the same 10.25-inch central touchscreen as standard, which enhances functionality and enables wireless smartphone mirroring, compatible with Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto.
