CITROËN CLEANS UP WITH VARITECH SYSTEMS LTD FLEET DEAL
Citroën has secured a fleet deal of nine multi-award winning, 100% electric new Citroën ë-Dispatch vans with Varitech Systems Ltd, on behalf of their client. Varitech Systems Ltd. placed the order of nine new ë-Dispatch vans through Yeomans Citroën Exeter. Fleet of nine new Citroën ë-Dispatch vans set to be used for cleaning services across Leeds, with all vehicles featuring the larger 75kWh battery. The 100% electric new ë-Dispatch is capable of a class-leading range of up to 205 miles, offering fleet operators incredibly low whole life costs when compared with vans powered by a combustion engine. Citroën has delivered an order of nine new Citroën ë-Dispatch vans through Varitech Systems Ltd on behalf of their client. The fleet of vehicles, supplied by Citroën retailer Yeomans in Exeter will be put to use for essential cleaning services across Leeds and the surrounding area. The Varitech Systems team have been able to customise new ë-Dispatch’s to cater for their customers specific needs, these include the installation of a 650 litre water tank, modular flooring on top of a tank capable of holding up to 250kg, pumps, controllers and filters, all easily accessible from the vehicle's side or rear.
Varitech Systems has been a long-standing customer of Yeomans Citroën, previously operating with a fleet incorporating models across Citroën’s petrol and diesel light commercial vehicle (LCV) range. Following the launch of 100% electric new ë-Dispatch, Varitech Systems is looking to make Citroën the sole supplier of vehicles for their STREAMLINE® fleet.
New ë-Dispatch provides Varitech Systems with a practical level of space and storage facilities. The battery has been positioned under the floor to maximise load space, providing up to 6.6m3 of load volume and a payload of up to 1,002kg. Thanks to the electric motor, drivers can now enjoy zero emissions, zero noise and vibrations, creating a more serene environment for more relaxing journeys. Available in a choice of three trim levels, ‘X’, ‘Enterprise’, and ‘Driver’ and ‘XS’, ‘M’ and ‘XL’ lengths, there is a new ë-Dispatch to suit a range of needs.
On behalf of their client, Varitech System opted for the popular ‘Enterprise’ specification in both ‘M’ and ‘XL’ lengths as well the very well-appointed ‘Driver’ specification in ‘M’ length. Both ‘Enterprise’ and ‘Driver’ models enjoy a wealth of standard equipment including air conditioning, rear parking sensors, cruise control with programmable speed limiter, an alarm, one touch electric windows, Moduwork® dual passenger bench seat with fold up outer seat with fold-down writing table and load-through bulkhead, 7” colour touchscreen with Apple Car Play™, Android Auto and electric parking brake. ‘Driver’ models then take things further with 17” ‘Curve’ alloy wheels, Citroën Connect Nav, Park Assist 180° parking camera, head-up display and adaptive cruise control amongst a host of other features.
The multi-award-winning Citroën ë-Dispatch is the first vehicle to form part of Citroën's electrification strategy to offer fully electric variants across the van range by the end of 2021, with new ë-Relay large van available to order now and new ë -Berlingo Van later this year. Available with a choice of two battery sizes, new ë-Dispatch is capable of up to 143 miles (WLTP) with the 50kWh battery, or up to 205 miles with the larger 75kWh battery (WLTP). New ë-Dispatch can be easily charged at home through a 7Kw Wallbox, or via a super-fast public charging station at speeds of up to 100kW that can recharge 80% of the battery in just 30 or 45 minutes for 50kWh and 75kWh versions respectively.

Varitech Systems Ltd is a family business that has been trading from the South West of England for over 15 years, and are a frequent customer of Yeomans Citroën as they have expanded their customer base. New Citroën ë-Dispatch provides financial benefits to businesses that may need to drive in and around key cities across the UK that are introducing Ultra Low Emissions Zone charges, whilst at the same time offering considerably lower whole life costs than an equivalent internal combustion powered van.
