  • All models in the core Citroën ë-LCV range are available to order now, allowing the brand to offer a 100%-electric version of each model in the brands LCV range.
  • The range comprises of the New Citroën ë-Berlingo Van, mid-size ë-Dispatch and large new ë-Relay Electric van, ensuring that the varying space requirements of users are all accounted for.
  • Alongside the core LCV range Citroën will also offer an electric quadricycle, new Ami Cargo Electric in 2022, as a ‘last mile’ delivery solution in urban areas with a payload of up to 140kg and a maximum load capacity of 400-litres.
  • Citroën’s fully electric LCV line up comes as part of the brand’s electrification strategy, as it works to provide an electrified variant of every vehicle in the entire range by 2025.

  • With immediate effect in the UK and France, C5 Aircross SUV Hybrid owners will now be notified in-car if they do not recharge their vehicles regularly.
  • The move is designed to help Citroën customers optimise the usage efficiency of their Plug-in Hybrid models and to further reduce impact on the environment.
  • The change comes as part of an ‘over the air’ update to the vehicles’ software and does not require customers to visit a Citroën retailer.
  • Alerts are in the form of messages on the vehicle’s touchscreen that activate after five days have passed and ten journeys have been made without recharging the vehicle. A similar alert will also feature on the brand’s forthcoming New C5 X Hybrid flagship model.
  • Data currently shows that 55% of journeys of less than 25 miles are made using electric only power and 52% of customers already recharge their vehicle once or twice every 62 miles.
  • Citroën C5 Aircross SUV Hybrid features a 13.2kWh battery to give a zero emission electric range of up to 34 miles (WLTP).

  • Citroën UK has updated New ë-C4 and New C4 for 2022, with revisions to specification and real world range on the all-electric model, effective from October 2021 production.
  • New ë-C4 Electric receives improvements to driving efficiency, enhancing real world range in various driving conditions. WLTP certified range remains up to 217 miles.
  • Changes to specification, alloy wheel design and body colours also form part of the 2022 updates.
  • Since launching in the UK, New ë-C4 Electric has accounted for over a fifth of total New C4 orders.
  • Due to the success of upper trim levels, most notably range-topping ‘Shine Plus’ versions, a small number of derivatives lower down the range have moved to stock only availability.

  • As reservations continue to build in the UK, Citroën has expanded the customisation options available for Citroën AMI in its existing European markets – showing what might be possible when the model arrives here in spring 2022.
  • Citroën offers a new collection of AMI decorative graphics and the possibility for drivers to personalise the vehicle with their own images to make their AMI unique.
  • Originally available with six packs of colourful accessories, Citroën AMI has had a further six patterns added by the Citroën design team with themes including ‘Jungle’, ‘Tutti Frutti’ and ‘British Globetrotter’.
  • In France, customers can engage their inner creative side to inspire bespoke designs with Citroën France’s design partner – Faab Fabricauto. Example designs include an ‘I Love My Cats’ and Hot Rod inspired ‘Flames’ theme.

  • Citroën is pleased to announce that the landmark figure of 1,000 AMI reservations in the UK was reached over the weekend of Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 October.
  • In fact, an amazing 1,130 reservations have now been received since citroen.co.uk started accepting £250 refundable reservation fees for AMI on Wednesday 22 September (less than two weeks ago).
  • The number of individuals who have registered their interest in AMI now stands at 14,000.
  • Scheduled to arrive in spring 2022, UK versions of AMI will remain left-hand drive – allowing the driver the benefit of exiting the vehicle kerbside when parking at the roadside in city centres.

  • The Urban Collëctif is a new partnership between Citroën, Accor and JCDecaux, three French companies with an international presence in the daily lives of city-dwellers around the world, and with a shared vision for the future of urban mobility.

 

  • Their common ambition is to optimise mobility so that everyone can reclaim urban spaces and significantly improve the quality of life.

 

  • This ambition relies on an innovative concept dubbed Citroën Autonomous Mobility Vision, which combines a high-tech and universal mobility platform, The Citroën Skate, with three new service Pods – Sofitel En Voyage, Pullman Power Fitness and JCDecaux City Provider – each offering a unique experience to explore cities in a new way.

 

  • Using autonomous, electric and agile Citroën technology, this disruptive, open-source urban mobility concept aims to decongest cities, while also meeting citizens’ growing needs in terms of mobility, services, safety and well-being in cities.

Due to unprecedented customer demand, Citroën is pleased to announce that Citroën AMI will launch in the UK during spring 2022. More than 12,000 UK customers have already registered their interest in this exciting new vehicle. With the introduction of AMI, Citroën UK accelerates its quest to deliver affordable and clean mobility solutions that are accessible to all. The all-electric Citroën AMI addresses future urban mobility needs and boasts a zero-emissions range of up to 46 miles. UK versions of AMI will remain left-hand drive – allowing the driver the benefit of exiting the vehicle kerbside when parking at the roadside in city centres. A full UK driving licence will be required to drive Citroën AMI in the UK, as with traditional passenger cars. AMI has already impressed many industry experts, having won prizes in the GQ Car Awards 2021 and the Auto Express New Car Awards 2021. From today (Wednesday 22 September), over 12,000 customers who previously registered their interest on the Citroën.co.uk website will be able to secure their AMI with a £250 refundable reservation fee. Since their European launch at the beginning of 2021, New C4 and ë-C4 - 100% ëlectric have achieved excellent sales success with a total 30,855 registrations in the first half of 2021. New ë-C4 stands out in the compact electric hatchback segment in Europe with the third highest volume of total registrations after just six months on sale. In the UK, over 70% of total orders have been for upper or range-topping ‘Shine’ or ‘Shine Plus’ versions. Top-of-the-range New ë-C4 ‘Shine Plus’ – which benefited most from a price reduction in March to ensure all ë-C4 versions continued to attract the Government Plug-in Car Grant (PICG) – now accounts for over 70% of ë-C4 sales in the UK. In France, during the first half of the year, New C4 achieved the highest total volume of sales to private customers of any C-segment hatchback.
