FIAT CHRYSLER AUTOMOBILES UK APPOINTS NEW PUBLIC RELATIONS DIRECTOR

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles UK has announced the appointment of Kate Saxton to the role of Public Relations Director.

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles UK has announced the appointment of Kate Saxton to the role of Public Relations Director.

Reporting into Deputy Managing Director Karl Howkins, Kate takes over responsibility for press and public relations activities across all FCA brands - Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Jeep, Abarth and Fiat Professional - in the UK and Ireland. She will also oversee Corporate Affairs news and the PR management of FCA UK's Motor Village dealer group.

Kate comes to the post having previously worked as Department Manager, European Communications at Honda Motor Europe and, before that, in a number of sales and communications roles in Honda UK.

"I'm delighted to be taking on this new challenge in the FCA UK PR Department," says Kate Saxton. "The group has some fantastic brands from which a number of exciting new vehicle product developments are coming in the near future. I'm looking forward to talking to the media about these new vehicles which will, I am sure, enhance FCA UK's reputation even further."

"I welcome Kate to this important role within the Public Relations Department," adds Karl Howkins. "Her wide experience gained from working with another motor manufacturer will allow her to bring some new ideas to our busy press office as we move forward towards 2016."
