ALFA ROMEO UK ANNOUNCES ORGANISATIONAL CHANGES

Alfa Romeo UK has announced a series of new appointments intended to expand and strengthen its management team and improve the level of support to its dealer network.

Jeff Culkin has assumed the role of marketing director, using his wide experience to build on the brand’s positive image in the market place.  Formerly Alfa Romeo UK sales director, Jeff will now be focusing on further developments of local Alfa Romeo retail marketing programmes.

The position of sales director will be filled by Mario di Maria, who joins Alfa Romeo UK from Italy where he was a senior Alfa Romeo area sales manager, having joined the company from BMW two years ago.

Matthew Clark, who has wide experience in the fleet sector, particularly in the fields of contract hire, corporate sales and dealer operations, has joined Alfa Romeo from Citroën, as fleet director.

Finally, Raffaella Zapparoli has joined the UK team to work on dealer marketing programmes with Jeff Culkin. 

Glyn Owen, managing director, comments: “The new members of the team bring a wealth of experience that will enable Alfa Romeo to further develop the services provided to both the network and its customers.  The reorganisation will enable the company to further capitalise on the 14 major product introductions that have been made over the past 12 months, including several restyled models and innovative new engines, culminating in the arrival of the exciting Alfa GT last month.”
