Alfa Romeo launch Alfa Romeo Certified in the UK

Alfa Romeo has launched its new website and customer experience for used cars. Alfa Romeo Certified offers customers an equivalent purchasing experience to that of a new car with the peace of mind of a full technical inspection from Alfa Romeo technicians and warranty for up to two years.

Cars bought through Alfa Romeo Certified benefit from a minimum two year Alfa Romeo unlimited mileage warranty and roadside assistance on cars up to four years old or 50,000 miles, including MOT test cover. Cars between four and seven years old, registering between 50,000 and 100,000 miles, benefit from a 12 month warranty, roadside assistance and MOT test cover. All cars undergo a 120-point pre-delivery inspection covering bodywork, electronics, safety systems and mechanics, while the provenance of each car is also checked to offer buyers ultimate peace of mind.

The warranty offers unlimited mileage protection, with a claim limit to the value of the car, and covers both parts and labour. Should the buyer choose to sell the car prior to the end of the warranty period, the warranty may be transferred to the new owner.

This customer journey is further enhanced by the brand’s completely revamped digital platform, which allows customers to get an all-round view of the available vehicles and to locate the retailer with their preferred model. Customers can then visit the retailer and inspect their dream Alfa Romeo up close. At the retailers, customers will find dedicated Alfa Romeo Certified spaces and staff with the opportunity to take a no obligation test drive. All cars purchased through Alfa Romeo Certified have a 30-day or 1,000 mile exchange programme to ensure that customers are happy with their purchase.

Alfa Romeo Certified represents a further fundamental step for the brand in the development of its customer journey. This includes innovations such as Non-Fungible-Token (NFT) certification on a blockchain, which sees Alfa Romeo become the first manufacturer to link a tamperproof digital certificate to the car. The NFT allows future owners the opportunity to see the maintenance and driving history of a car, helping to support its residual value.
