Alfa Romeo Classiche expands its offering with the introduction of two new services at the Alfa Romeo Museum in Arese. These new additions are designed to create an even more engaging experience for customers and collectors who entrust their classic cars to the Officine Classiche in Turin. From today, collectors can opt for the post-restoration handover ceremony and inspection sessions for the Certification of Authenticity to take place at the heart of Biscione heritage at the Alfa Romeo Museum, transforming a service appointment into an immersive experience.

Among the new features is the possibility of a collecting a restored vehicle directly from Arese, as an alternative to the traditional handover at the Officine Classiche in Turin—the brand’s specialist facility. Opened in 2015 in the historic Mirafiori industrial district, the same technicians responsible for the company collection also work on privately owned vehicles. Collectors can choose between two options. They can choose a ‘basic’ package, which includes transportation of the vehicle to Arese, a handover ceremony in a dedicated area, and a test drive on the museum track. Alternatively, customers can opt for the ‘premium’ package, which further enriches the experience with video content from the day, a meeting with the technicians who carried out the restoration, and an exciting guided tour through the museum featuring icons from the history of Alfa Romeo.

Meanwhile, the Alfa Romeo Museum in Arese is also now one of the key locations for inspections related to the Certification of Authenticity. Starting today, Biscione vehicle owners can entrust their cars directly to Alfa Romeo Classiche technicians on site, where in-depth analyses are carried out and every detail is documented through technical and photographic reports. Essential to ensuring the vehicle’s originality and historical value, this process also creates networking opportunities, including dedicated sessions held during events and club gatherings. Inspection services at the customer’s location or at the Officine Classiche in Turin also remain available.

The services of Alfa Romeo Classiche, Heritage Hub Italy

The Alfa Romeo Classiche programme offers three services for customers – a Certification of Origin, a Certification of Authenticity, and Restoration. Specifically, the Certification of Origin reconstructs each vehicle’s history through its chassis number (certifying the year of production), original configuration, engine serial number, and details of the bodywork and interiors — where available in the archives.

A further service available is the Certification of Authenticity, which attests to the originality of a historic Alfa Romeo and enhances its value. Each vehicle undergoes a rigorous technical and documentary inspection process (including verification of production data in the company archives), analysis of mechanical and aesthetic components, and the issuance of a dossier containing photographs, technical documentation, and a certification plaque. Until now, the service had been provided mainly at the Officine Classiche in Mirafiori or, alternatively, at the customer’s location. From today, collectors will also be able to have their Alfa Romeo inspected directly at the museum in Arese, with the possibility of organising dedicated sessions during gatherings and events.

Lastly, the third service offered by the Officine Classiche in Turin is restoration. Ranging from minor maintenance work to complete restorations carried out according to the vehicle’s original specifications. Who better than the parent company to guarantee the highest standards of workmanship, having designed, developed, and produced these cars? This exclusive know-how is what sets the service apart. Active since 2015 in the former Officina 83 facility in Mirafiori, on Via Plava in Turin, the Officine Classiche now covers nearly 6,000 square metres and is equipped with multiple lifting platforms, specialised machinery, and a highly precise finishing line, including a dedicated paint booth for individual components.

Opened in 1976 and renovated in 2015 on the occasion of the world debut of the new Giulia, it stands as one of the most important centres dedicated to Italy’s industrial heritage and automotive identity. The museum tour unfolds across three thematic levels—Timeline, Beauty, and Speed—featuring models that have shaped the brand’s history. The display cars range from the first A.L.F.A. 24 HP to the Formula 1 cars driven by Juan Manuel Fangio, as well as legendary Mille Miglia vehicles and the iconic Autodelta race cars. Today, the Alfa Romeo Museum in Arese is part of the ‘History’ area within the new BOTTEGAFUORISERIE project – the creative concept that brings together the excellence of Alfa Romeo and Maserati by blending tradition and innovation into a single vision. The project showcases this extraordinary heritage through a forward-looking journey rooted in the identity and legacy of the two brands.
