The University of Motorsport at Spa-Francorchamps will host the third round of the Italian F4 Championship Certified by FIA. The Italian series, promoted by ACI Sport, comes to Belgium with a record starting grid with no less than 38 Tatuus single-seaters, powered by the 180 hp Abarth 1.4 T-Jet engine, closely derived from the one that guarantees performance and reliability to the road cars of the Scorpione brand.

Leading the standings, after the first two rounds at Imola and Misano, is Brazilian Rafael Camara (BRA - Prema Racing), bearer of the Ferrari Driver Academy. But the 17-year-old from Recife will have to contend with British series leader Alex Dunne (IRL - US Racing) and German series leader and team-mate Andrea Kimi Antonelli (ITA - Prema Racing). At the third round, the classification is still very short and, behind the Italian driver, the Polish Kacper Sztuka (POL - US Racing) and the Australian James Wharton (AUS - Prema Racing) who, like Camara, is a Ferrari Driver Academy driver, are chasing close behind.

There are several new names for the Spa-Francorchamps round with the Cram Motorsport team bringing the Brazilian with US passport Nicholas Monteiro, who is also racing in the Brazilian series. While from the F4 Spanish Championship series comes Valerio Rinicella, Roman driver who will take to the track with the AKM Motorsport team. There will also be a debut for Thai driver Nandhavud Bhirombhakdi (THA - Jenzer Motorsport), who ran his first European race in the ADAC Formel 4 on the Belgian circuit.

The weekend's programme at the Spa-Francorchamps track includes two free practice sessions on Friday 17 June at 12.40pm and at 5.10pm. Qualifying on the Ardennes circuit will get underway on Saturday 18 June at 9.50am, with two 15-minute sessions, while race 1 will see the green lights at 2pm on Saturday. Race 2 on Sunday 19 will start at 9.40am, while the last race of the weekend will start at 5.25pm with the unknown rain that could make the races even more uncertain on a legendary circuit that will test the skills of the very young drivers of the Italian F4 Championship.
