Stellantis vai consolidar os seus serviços de financiamento na China
A companhia pretende consolidar os seus serviços de financiamento automóvel na China na empresa Auto Finance Company (AFC), totalmente detida pela Stellantis. A participação da Stellantis e da DPCA na DPCAFC, joint-venture de financiamento automóvel com 15 anos de existência, desenvolvida entre a Stellantis, a DPCA e o Dongfeng Group, irá ser vendida à Dongfeng, processo sujeito às aprovações dos reguladores. A nova estrutura irá alinhar-se com o modelo de negócios Dare Forward 2030 na China e apoiar o novo modelo de negócios da DPCA.

Amesterdão, 13 de abril de 2022 – No seguimento da reestruturação dos serviços de financiamento automóvel na Europa e nos EUA, a Stellantis anunciou hoje que a PSA Finance Nederland (PFN), subsidiária de financiamento automóvel totalmente detida pelo BPF (Banque PSA Finance), e a DPCA celebraram um acordo de transferência de ações com o Dongfeng Group, assente na premissa de que as suas respetivas ações na JV Dongfeng Peugeot Citroën Auto Finance Company (DPCAFC) serão vendidas ao Dongfeng Group, processo sujeito a aprovação dos reguladores. A nova estrutura estará em linha com o plano "Dare Forward 2030", apoiando o modelo de negócios da empresa, bem como a implantação das novas marcas.
"À medida que continuamos o nosso impulso para um crescimento rentável na China, precisamos também de repor a nossa oferta de serviços de financiamento no país, tal como fizemos noutros grandes mercados", disse Carlos Tavares, CEO da Stellantis. "Esta medida irá apoiar, em grande medida, o nosso plano de relançamento no país, ao mesmo tempo que conduzirá a um percurso de cliente mais fluido".
A transação proposta deverá ficar concluída durante a segunda metade de 2022, uma vez obtidas as necessárias aprovações da autoridade da concorrência e dos reguladores bancários/financeiros relevantes.
