A promise kept: as announced at the beginning of the project, the dream has come true, in record time. In a highly changing scenario and in the challenging “custom-built” sector, the bold promise the brand made to its Alfisti fans has been kept: the first of 33 units is ready to go to the first customer.

An iconic day: on December 17, on the same day in 1966 when the legendary Carlo Chiti officially entrusted Franco Scaglione with research into the bodywork for what would become the 33 Stradale, considered by many to be the most beautiful car ever.

The first customer of the new 33 Stradale, a member of the exclusive Club 33, has embraced the project since its official announcement at the 2022 F1 GP at Monza. Since then, he has been involved in an engaging conversation with the Alfa Romeo “Bottega” to customize his car, resulting in a unique piece that cannot be replicated.

Just a few days ahead of delivery of the first unit, the Automobile Awards jury has named the Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale “Supercar of the Year”.

This illustrious award once again celebrates an extraordinary project that has become reality in the space of two years, in the form of the imminent delivery of the first model to the first of 33 customers.

The F1 driver featured in the dynamic test on the track with the 00 prototype of the new Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale in its first test on the iconic Alfa Romeo track at the Balocco Proving Ground, providing essential feedback for the final tuning of the supercar.

The team of Alfa Romeo engineers stopped off at the Nardò Technical Center, the fastest circular track for cars in the world, for an intense session of dynamic tests with the 00 prototype of the 33 Stradale.

Alfa Romeo Junior joins the shortlist of the 7 finalists competing for the coveted international Car of the Year 2025 award.

The international jury is made up of 60 automotive journalists from 23 countries. There were a total of 42 cars in the competition, all as per regulations, put on the market in 2024.

From now on, the jurors for Car of the Year will be focusing on the 7 finalists. After evaluating each of them according to very specific criteria, they will name the winner on January 10, 2025, at the Brussels International Motor Show.

Reaching the shortlist for an international award of this caliber is a reason to be incredibly proud.  The positive judgment of the leading experts in the sector is the reward for an extraordinary project, bringing Alfa Romeo back – many years later – to the compact segment.
