FIAT EL DJAZAIR: A YEAR OF MAJOR LAUNCHES AND COMMERCIAL ACHIEVEMENTS IN 2023

Algiers, February 6^th 2024 - FIAT El Djazaïr reflects on a year marked by numerous launches, impactful achievements, and a continuous growth in its business since entering the Algerian market in March 2023.

FIAT made its mark on the Algerian automotive scene with its comeback in March 2023, introducing six models including the iconic Fiat 500 Hybrid that quickly became the symbol of the Italian brand’s presence in Algeria. 

With its range of 3 vehicles and 4 LCV, FIAT has enabled Algerian customers to meet the diverse mobility needs of individual and professional customers. By the end of the year, they were followed by the new Fiat Titano pickup, launched in Algeria as a global exclusive.

Since its launch, FIAT El Djazaïr has experienced a substantial increase in its commercial activity, starting from 125 vehicles imported in March 2023 to 15,000 vehicles by the end of December.

FIAT El Djazaïr pursued this expansion with the goal of satisfying its customers, with nearly 60,000 vehicles sold nationwide, led by Fiat Tipo and Fiat 500X in the passenger vehicle segment as well as Doblo, Scudo et Ducato for utility vehicles.

To achieve this goal, Fiat swiftly established a strong distribution network, which saw significant growth, closing the year with over 50 points of sales covering 65% of the Algerian territory, making it the bugger automotive network in the country.

This achievement has led to a significant reduction in delivery times by the end of 2023, enabling delivery on the same month of the order for the majority of FIAT models, since then.

With a focus on service quality, the after-sales services also experienced a surge by ensuring spare parts availability throughout the FIAT El Djazaïr network.

The year 2024 is very promising as it begins with the same momentum as 2023, with Fiat El Djazaïr delivering more than 16,000 vehicles since the beginning of January. This record was made possible through the consolidation of expertise and professionalism of the teams of the whole network that are dedicated to ensuring service quality and customer satisfaction.
