- National Auto introduces innovative digital concept to UAE market.
- The Virtual Tour Experience brings the Fiat & Abarth showroom to customers.
-
Dubai, September 14th 2020: National Auto, the exclusive distributor for Fiat and Abarth vehicles in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, has launched their Virtual Tour Experience, an exciting new concept that brings the showroom to customers.
Supporting social distancing measures, the cutting-edge new digital concept allows Fiat and Abarth enthusiasts to browse through National Auto’s range of stylish and exciting Italian compact cars, including the super-chic Fiat 500 and the soul-stirring Abarth 595 Competizione, from the comfort of their own home using a PC, laptop or handheld device.
Virtual Tour Experience
Using state-of-the-art digital scanning and Virtual Reality technology, the Virtual Tour Experience (VTE) brings prospective customers into the showroom via a web browser (PC, smartphone, tablet), or a Virtual Reality headset, as if they were physically entering the showroom themselves.
The immersive 3D 360° Virtual Tour in 4K resolution offers several modes, including dollhouse, floorplan, and tag points/pop-ups, that provide a comprehensive overview of the entire showroom. Customers can navigate the showroom using the tag points, stopping and viewing each vehicle displayed in the viewing gallery with 360° exterior and interior views. Each vehicle will include clickable icons that trigger pictures, videos, brochures, and links to book test drives or contact the sales team.
As the customer explores the virtual space, they’ll come across pop-ups around the showroom providing brand and product information, embedded videos and links to the main product pages on Fiat Dubai’s website.
A VR ‘hot lap’ experience of the Abarth 595 Competizione taken at the Dubai Autodrome is also accessible through a link tagged inside the Virtual Tour, bringing a 360-degree view of the thrilling acceleration and the magnificent roar of the iconic Record Monza Exhaust right to your mobile device.
The VTE’s web link can easily be shared via social media or email, and will also be available on Google Maps’ Street View mode, so that any curious browser using Google Maps can access the showroom instantly.
The Virtual Tour Experience is being launched in tandem with Fiat Chrysler Automotive’s iShowroom concept, providing customers with a fully immersive, all-round digital showroom experience to make their car buying experience fun, informative and, most importantly, safe.

The 2019 Geneva International Motor Show sees the debut of the Fiat Concept Centoventi, a concept vehicle that perfectly expresses the Italian brand's idea of electric mass mobility in the near future. It is the expression of a bold, democratic future vision based on 120 years of history and experience in the field - hence the name of the prototype that means "One Hundred and Twenty" in Italian - which, maintaining the tradition, is destined to break away from the past and push beyond. Just as in the Fifties, for example, when the Fiat 500 sparked an industrial and cultural revolution, overcoming traditional categories in looks, design and engineering to become a masterpiece, unlike anything else in the automotive industry history, the first real example of mobility affordable to the mass market.
