CASABLANCA, Morocco, May 5th, 2026 – Stellantis today announced the launch of its Circular Economy Dismantling Center in Casablanca, the first facility of its kind for the Company in Morocco and across the Middle East and Africa region, the third for Stellantis SUSTAINera worldwide.

Operated under SUSTAINera, Stellantis’ global circular economy business unit, the new site focuses on vehicle dismantling and the recovery of reusable components, being Reuse one of the key pillars of the strategy, supporting the Company’s ambition to extend product lifespan and optimize the use of resources across the automotive value chain.

Located in Ain Sebaa, Casablanca, the Circular Economy Dismantling Center marks an important milestone in Stellantis’ sustainability roadmap in Morocco. It reinforces the country’s key role within the Company’s regional ecosystem —which integrates manufacturing, engineering, mobility solutions and sustainable services —and positions the Center as a reference point for accelerating the development of a compliant and scalable End-of-Life Vehicle (ELV) value chain.

“Morocco plays a strategic role in Stellantis’ regional footprint, and the launch of this Circular Economy Dismantling Center reflects our commitment to developing sustainable automotive solutions while supporting local economic development,” said Yves Peyrot Des Gachons, Managing Director of Stellantis Morocco. “Through initiatives like this, we are expanding our circular economy ecosystem and contributing to a more responsible and resource-efficient mobility industry.”

A New Industrial Capability for Circular Economy
The Circular Economy Dismantling Center will play a key role in Stellantis’ sustainable aftermarket ecosystem in Morocco, supporting the recovery and reuse of valuable original vehicle components.

The facility, supported by a €1.6 million investment, is expected to create around 150 direct and indirect jobs, contributing to the development of specialized skills in vehicle dismantling, parts inspection, logistics and circular economy operations.

Located in Ain Sebaa, Casablanca, the site spans approximately 6,000 square meters and has been designed to manage the entire dismantling process in a structured and environmentally responsible manner. Dedicated operational areas include vehicle reception, depollution, dismantling zones, quality inspection stations, preparation and referencement, and storage spaces for recovered parts before redistribution.

With an annual dismantling capacity of up to 10,000 vehicles, the center will enable the systematic recovery of fully functional reusable components from end-of-life vehicles sourced through insurance partners, auctions and ELV (End-of-Life Vehicle) channels. After rigorous quality checks, these components will be reintegrated into the aftermarket ecosystem, extending their lifespan while providing customers and repair professionals with reliable and more affordable replacement parts.

A Structured Vehicle Dismantling Process

At the Circular Economy Dismantling Center, each vehicle follows a structured dismantling process designed to maximize component reuse and ensure environmental compliance.
The process begins with the reception and identification of the vehicle, followed by a depollution phase during which fluids and potentially hazardous materials are safely removed in accordance with environmental standards.

Specialized teams then perform the selective dismantling of components with high reuse potential, such as mechanical parts, body elements, electronic modules and interior components. These parts are carefully removed and transferred to inspection stations where they undergo quality control and traceability procedures to ensure reliability and compliance with Stellantis standards.

Once validated, reusable components are catalogued and stored before being redistributed through dedicated aftermarket channels, including professional repair networks and digital platforms. Parts that cannot be reused are directed toward recycling streams, ensuring responsible material recovery and minimizing waste.

Part of Stellantis’ Global Circular Economy Strategy
The Casablanca facility joins Stellantis’ expanding network of circular economy owned-initiatives worldwide, including the Circular Economy Hub in Turin, Italy, and the Circular Autopeças dismantling center in São Paulo, Brazil.

Through SUSTAINera, Stellantis is developing a comprehensive circular economy approach focused on remanufacturing, repair, reuse and recycling, aiming to extend product lifespan  while reducing the environmental footprint associated with manufacturing new components.

An Integrated Distribution Model for the Moroccan Market
Recovered and validated parts from the Casablanca Circular Economy Dismantling Center are distributed through a structured and diversified aftermarket ecosystem tailored to the Moroccan market.

These components are made available through Stellantis’ after-sales network and partner repairers, as well as through Distrigo hubs, ensuring nationwide coverage and high service standards for professional customers.

In parallel, Stellantis is leveraging digital and innovative distribution channels to widen access to reused parts. This includes Parts24, the B2C brand of Auto24 specializing in the online sale of used parts through a 100% digital platform. Parts24, one of Stellantis’ two global B2C e-commerce platforms for used parts, was launched in parallel with the Morocco dismantling center, reinforcing the Group’s circular economy presence in the country.

The distribution ecosystem also includes Piyes, a Moroccan startup focused on supplying used parts to insurance companies and fleet operators, as well as Distrigo, a joint venture with Stellantis dedicated to servicing the retail network and supporting B2B agreements with insurers and fleets.

Together, these channels ensure that reused parts recovered in Casablanca are efficiently reintegrated into the market, offering customers and repair professionals reliable, more affordable and sustainable solutions while supporting the development of a structured circular economy in Morocco.

Strengthening Stellantis’ Sustainable Ecosystem in Morocco
The launch of the Circular Economy Dismantling Center further reinforces Stellantis’ long-term commitment to Morocco, where the Company operates a growing industrial, engineering, technological and commercial ecosystem.

This ecosystem includes the Kenitra manufacturing plant, one of Stellantis’ most competitive industrial sites worldwide, as well as the Africa Technical Center in Casablanca, a key engineering hub supporting research and development activities for the region.

By introducing circular economy activities into this ecosystem, Stellantis continues to support Morocco’s ambition to develop a sustainable, innovative and competitive automotive industry, while contributing to responsible mobility solutions for customers and communities.
